Setting up your Samsung TV using your Samsung account

Congratulations on your new Samsung TV. While setting up your TV for the first time, you will need to log in to your Samsung account to finish the initial set up. Please follow the simple instructions in this video.

Case 1 - Your Galaxy phone is already logged in to your Samsung account

After completing the network setup during the initial setup, you can set up your Samsung account by selecting Start Setup.

Scan the QR code on the TV with your phone’s camera.

If you're logged in to your Samsung account on your Galaxy phone, you can log in to your TV with the same account.

Note: You will need to log in to your Samsung account after setting up your network connection.

Tap Sign it in now when the pop-up window appears.

Tap Sign in to complete the process.

You have successfully logged in to the TV.

Next, you can register your credit card. You can also tap Later to stop at this point.

Please agree to the terms and conditions and complete the remaining settings according to the TV screen.

Once the settings are complete, you can use apps and smart features.

 

Case 2 - If you have a non-Galaxy phone and also have a Samsung account.

 Scan the QR code on the TV with your phone’s camera.

Log in to the TV by entering your Samsung account credentials on your phone.

Tap the pop-up link when it appears.

Enter your email address.

Enter your password.

You have successfully logged in to the TV.

You can register your credit card. Or, you can simply stop at this point.

Please agree to the terms and conditions and complete the remaining settings according to the TV screen.

Once the settings are complete, you can use apps and smart features.

 

Disclaimer

You will need a Samsung Account to access Smart Hub, our network-based smart service that includes apps (such as streaming service apps) and our other smart features available through your device. You may need to use a separate device (laptop, desktop, or mobile phone) to create or log in to a Samsung Account. If you choose not to log in to a Samsung Account, you will only be able to connect to external devices (such as HDMI and terrestrial over-the-air TV with the use of antenna tuners). The images used in the video may differ from your devices depending on the model or geographical area.
