My Samsung TV won't turn on
If you’re having difficulty getting your TV screen to display anything but a black screen, it’s important to work out if the TV is switched on and just displaying a black screen, or if the TV isn’t powered on at all. The first thing that you should look for is the standby light, this can usually be found on the lower middle or lower right of your TV. The standby light will be lit when your TV is turned off and unlit when it is turned on. If you need a repair you can book one at Samsung Repair services.

Please note: the location of the power button will depend on your TV's model. See your user manual or download an e-manual for information about your specific TV.

If you are using surge protectors check that these are working properly by plugging your TV directly into a power socket you know is working.
