How to cold boot, reboot, restart, or reset your Samsung Smart TV
Cold boot is a little different than just turning the TV off and on again. When you turn off the TV, in fact, you are simply putting it on standby, while cold boot is like restarting a computer and allows you to fix those small errors that can be generated during use. Option 1: Cold Boot with the TV remote

Turn the TV on

Point the remote at the TV and press and hold the power button on the remote until the TV turns off and then on again (the Samsung logo will appear). This should take approximately 5 seconds

Option 2: Cold boot with the TV power outlet

Turn the TV off

Unplug the TV from the electrical socket and leave it unplugged for about 30 seconds

Reconnect the TV and turn on again
