Follow the steps below to determine whether a number you call on your Gear S is dialled out from the Gear S or from a mobile device with which it's paired. In this example the steps set the Gear S as the used device.

Please note: if you set the Gear S to make the calls, rather than a paired smartphone by proxy, its battery will drain faster. If your Gear S is paired with another device and you lose that Bluetooth connection then outgoing calls will be made from the Gear S only.
