Step into the world of Elsa Hosk

We joined the internet’s favourite supermodel for a sunny day in LA with the new Galaxy Z Series

What happens when you hand one of the biggest supermodels in the world one of the hottest new phones in the world? We found out, during the Samsung ‘Unfold Your World’ event. Filmed in gorgeous Los Angeles, California, we followed model, celebrity and mum, Elsa Hosk as she took the new Galaxy Z Flip3 5G on a tour of her favourite spots—snapping photos, shopping, and hiking—while exploring the unique experience offered by the latest generation of Galaxy Foldables.

A place of peace outside the city

Elsa began her day in the beautiful Descanso Gardens, a 150-acre botanical garden located in La Cañada Flintridge. Surrounded by thousands of flowers and trees, and set against the natural backdrop of the Hollywood Hills, the model opened up about the importance of prioritising her mental health, especially with the scrutiny that comes with a large social media following. As such, Elsa often chooses to start her day with a meditation in nature, using the Samsung Health app on her Galaxy Z Flip3 to easily build a meditation programme which suits her busy life.

A trip to the local farmer’s market

From there, Elsa gave attendees a glimpse into family life with boyfriend, Tom, while out shopping for dinner at the Pasadena Farmer’s Market. The pair prefer to shop small, to ensure that their produce is fresh, local and organic, so this intimate market is the perfect place to find what she’s looking for. Hosk was able to call boyfriend Tom, capture pictures of the fresh veg, and purchase ingredients for her favourite summer dish crudités in one go, thanks to the multi-tasking capabilities of the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.

We also followed Elsa to her go-to coffee spot: Pasadena’s only plant-based, environmentally conscious coffee shop – Coffee and Plants, which offers not only eco-conscious dining, but a beautiful interior that is made for social media. While at the café, Elsa and a close friend took full advantage of the menu’s aesthetics to trial the new camera capabilities of the Galaxy Z Fold3. The Fold3 is the first Samsung foldable device that is S Pen compatible, meaning you can capture hands free content without the need for self-timers - one of Elsa’s biggest pet peeves. The model revealed that she uses effects such as Studio Lighting and Food Mode to make her content really pop on her feed.

A hike through the Hollywood Hills

Lastly, as an avid hiker, Elsa took the time to take us on her favourite trail through Beachwood Canyon, a hike that winds through the natural hilly LA terrain and up past the Hollywood sign. Despite having lived in the USA for a number of years, Elsa revealed that as a European it still excites her to see the Hollywood sign so frequently. But beyond just sightseeing, the Beachwood Canyon provided Elsa with a great opportunity to listen to her favourite music with Galaxy Buds2, and try out the health features of the Galaxy Watch4, which enables users to track full body composition measurements and keep on top of their health.
