The way that I work has evolved.
The way that I work, the way that we all work, is 10x greater with technology and is why I invest in incredible entrepreneurs who dare to change how we work, live, and dream. This technology then becomes 10x greater when we can collaborate with others in the ecosystem.
The greatest start-ups in the world today, such as Airtable, Figma, and Notion (products that I use every day), are building tools that enable us to not only produce our best work but collaborate with our colleagues and community as we do so.
They know that collaboration is key to future success in businesses and communities, everywhere.
This is why we need collaborative tools at every point in our workflow.
Last year, I began using the Z Fold3 to build efficiency into my work, specifically maximising the value of a large display with multi-screen functionality when on the go, enabling me to productively prepare, take meetings with entrepreneurs, and immediately follow up.
The Z Fold3 eliminated the 'get to it later' category that a lot of work falls into, which often means it never gets done. The immediacy of my work catapulted as did the value I delivered to the start-up ecosystem of entrepreneurs and investors; the power of the dual-screen that the brightest engineers work with every day to build companies that change the world was finally with me everywhere, enabling me to do the same.
The Z Fold3 transformed how I work, but as Airtable, Figma, and Notion prove, that work is 10x more powerful when we can collaborate.
Enter the Z Fold4. Evolving the way I work.
Collaboration. Community. Companies.
With new technology comes new opportunities.
The power of the edge panel and thus the device and my work is elevated when collaborative sets are created that add value to others. When I used to meet founders, I'd open my multi-screen set of Google Meet <> Notes <> Google Drive, but I've now added Airtable to the set where I can see and add to other investors' notes whilst in the meeting. I also combine it with my Airtable <> LinkedIn <> Email set so that our shared Investor CRM is utilised for introductions for those entrepreneurs.
As soon as an entrepreneur or investor is in contact, I’ve now got places where I keep and track the relationships, systems that automatically get shared with other investors where we collaborate on thoughts pre-and-post meetings, vastly improving our decision making; the speed at which we can now do this at, especially whilst on-the-go, results in more informed conversations and greater outcomes for all entrepreneurs.
My special takeaways:
The magic of the new taskbar! Launching and switching between apps got a bit too fast and seamless that I can forget I've done so as I've been so used to waiting for apps to load and then thinking about how to work - the value-add to my work is high with the interruption non-existent.
I'm a post-it note person, but, initially, the idea of using a pen to write on my phone didn't appeal to me, until I tried the S-Pen - doctor's/ investor's handwriting struggles? Not here! the Fold4's writing-to-text conversion is just as good as me telling someone what I've written.
Plus, give me a phone that never dies and you'll get a super version of me, every single day.
Anyway, let me get back to working superiorly on-the-go :)
