Vision

Voice guide
Voice guide enables Smart TVs to provide an audio description of the items displayed on your screen. It helps blind users or those who have difficulty seeing the screen to use basic TV functions and various smart services, such as Internet and search with voice feedback. With Voice guide, you can hear information about the current channel and volume, current and future broadcasts, and the viewing schedule.

Audio description
Audio description is a service provided by many television programmes for blind users or those who have difficulty seeing the screen. An additional audio track is broadcast that provides a verbal description of the scene to aid understanding. Enjoy a more vivid experience with narration of scene changes, character expressions, gestures, costumes, and more.

  • * Audio description is only available if supported by the broadcast you are currently watching.
Magnification
If you can't see the screen well, you can enlarge the screen to see the image or text better. You can magnify the screen as you like up to 200% or adjust the position of the area to be magnified.

High contrast
Light-coloured text against a dark background enables those with colour blindness or low vision to see screen text more clearly. You can change the background colour of the main service screen to black and the text colour to white or yellow to increase visibility and reduce eye strain. Plus, the transparent TV menu screen is automatically changed to opaque to make text more legible.

Zoom Menu
and Text
The Zoom Menu and Text makes menus and text bigger to help those with low vision. You can view larger text and detailed sections of service screens, such as Channel information, Smart hub, Settings, pop-ups and more.

Grayscale
If you have trouble recognising colours or have high eye strain, you can change the colour of the screen to black and white by using grayscale. You can use the black and white mode to sharpen the blurry borders caused by colour and to avoid straining your eyes

Colour inversion
If you are sensitive to light or have poor eyesight, you can invert the background to black and the text to white. Colour Inversion helps to increase visual recognition, and reduce glare and eye strain.

SeeColours Mode
The Seecolours mode, available on all Samsung QLED TVs, helps those with a colour vision deficiency to adjust screen colour to suit their eyes. You can check the presence and degree of colour blindness, and, based on the diagnosis, adjust the screen colour to the spectrum of colours that your eyes can recognise.

Learn TV Remote
Learn remote control enables blind users or users with low vision to quickly learn the location and operation of the remote control buttons. The TV will tell you what each button does after you press it.

Learn Menu Screen
Learn menu screen enables blind or low vision users to learn various TV functions. It provides e-manual audio explanations of how to use the remote control, accessibility menu, TV voice guidance, broadcast guidance, viewing schedule and more.

This voice feature identifies and reads video captions out loud using AI.

Picture Off
When you use this feature, your TV screen will be turned off, but you can still listen to the audio. To reactivate the screen, simply press any key (except for the Power and Volume buttons) on your remote control.

Relumino Mode
Relumino Mode makes shows, movies, and documentaries easier to see by outlining objects, enhancing contrast, and adjusting brightness and colour.

Hearing

Caption
Captions are provided for many TV programmes. Dialogue is displayed as screen text for deaf or hard-of-hearing users. If captions obstruct the screen and interfere with viewing, you can move them to a more convenient position. Plus, to enhance visibility, you can set the font size, colour, and the background colour and transparency to suit your needs.

Sign language zoom
Sign language zoom automatically recognises and enlarges the sign language area, enabling deaf users to see more detailed mouth and facial expressions. You can specify a sign language area and adjust the magnification by up to 200%. Blind users can also use this function to zoom in on a specific area, such as scores for sporting events or quiz programmes.

Multi-output Audio
Multi-output audio enables hard-of-hearing users to enjoy watching TV with their family. Sound is output to both speakers and headphones simultaneously, allowing each family member to enjoy the broadcast at their own volume levels. Hard-of-hearing users can listen using a Bluetooth device, while family members can listen through the TV speakers.

Sign Language Guide
An avatar appears at the bottom of the TV screen to provide explanations of TV menu functions in sign language.

Remote Button
Repeat Settings
If you are uncomfortable with the operation speed of the remote control buttons, the Remote Button Repeat Settings enable you to slow them down. You can adjust the continuous operation speed of the remote control to make changing channels, adjusting volume, or moving list items more comfortable to operate.
