File transfers are a snap. And I've never suffered any data loss. It's durable, as well. Not surprising as every piece of Samsung gear I've owned including several Galaxy flagship, SSDs, an expansion card and even an old, beat up, second-hand chromebook have been high quality and reliable. I remember getting 64gb ssd 850 and while at the time it took a bit for bios to deal with Ssds vs Hdd it was amazing to see a boot up after 1p second vs 1 minute. Then eventually 870gb replaced it since 64gb as a boot drive and the 512 hdd wasn't cutting it. At this point ssds we mainstream so migrating to the 870 tb was much easier and the performance( 550Mbs/500Mbs) was great over almost a decade plus the was an ability to use ram as a cache so kept my system feeling snappy up until Nvmes because affordable. I still have a small collection of these from old PCs I built as external drives and not once have they let me down

I bought my Samsung 870 Evo 1tb ssd to replace the hhd in my Xbox x (older version). It was like night and day. In my online game I play. Destiny 2, I would be flying while my clanmates were already on the ground fighting. After the hhd swap to ssd. I was on the ground fighting before some of my clanmates. Everything on my Xbox did a total 360. Everything was so much faster my gaming experience went from a zombie type feeling to a run away train feeling. If you are on the fence, just thinking about making the switch from hhd to ssd, I highly recommend this product! I promise you'll thank me later. P.S I can't take a Pic of the inside of my Xbox. The reliability and speed of Samsung drives are simply unmatched by any other company. I love that I can install one, and it works perfectly and it will continue to work perfectly for a very long time- they have the durability to outperform its own read/write specs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this SSD a couple weeks ago and am using it as additional memory for my Xbox one X. It is by far the best SSD product I have ever used. Even though it's almost completely full the games I have saved to it still have no problem running at all no lag, not skipping, and also no difference in the quality of the picture. All those things are what I have had issues with in the past so to finally find one that runs not only to my expectations but above that is even better. I would give it 10 stars is it allowed that but I can only do 5. GREAT PRODUCT KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK SAMSUNG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product about half a year ago as a way to both increase my computer's storage and backing up important files, both of which the SSD does extremely well. As someone who tinkers with a lot of technology, both old and new, I've seen a large spectrum of the best and worst storage devices on the market. So far, the 870 EVO series has been extremely reliable and simple to use, plug and play. I have reasonable faith in this drive to preserve my files, and so far have seen such results. A solid price for a reliable and sizable storage unit, easily could recommend again.
