What is SAR?
SAR stands for Specific Absorption Rate which is the unit of measurement for the amount of RF energy absorbed by the body when using a mobile phone.
Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level in laboratory conditions, the actual SAR level of the phone while operating can be well below this value.
This is because the phone is designed to use the minimum power required to reach the network.
Therefore, the closer you are to a base station, the more likely it is that the actual SAR level will be lower.

The SAR-Tick label is part of an effort by the Mobile & Wireless Forum to help consumers learn more about national and international exposure standards for their mobile phone or wireless device.

Vaša mobilna naprava je radijski oddajnik in sprejemnik. Izdelana je tako, da ne presega omejitev izpostavljenosti radijskim valovom (radiofrekvenčna elektromagnetna polja), ki jih priporočajo mednarodne smernice. Smernice je razvila neodvisna znanstvena organizacija (ICNIRP) in vključujejo precejšnjo varnostno rezervo, ki zagotavlja varnost vseh oseb ne glede na starost in zdravstveno stanje.
V smernicah za izpostavljenost radijskim valovom se uporablja merska enota z imenom SAR oziroma specifična stopnja absorpcije. Omejitev SAR za mobilne naprave je 2 W/kg za glavo in telo ter 4 W/kg za ude.
Testi za SAR so opravljeni v standardnih delovnih položajih, pri čemer naprava oddaja na svoji najvišji certificirani stopnji moči v vseh testiranih frekvenčnih pasovih. Najvišje vrednosti SAR v skladu s smernicami ICNIRP za ta model naprave so:
SAR za ude: 1.852 W/Kg
SAR za prednji del obraza: 0.727 W/Kg (omejitev SAR za glavo velja tudi za SAR za prednji del obraza)
Med uporabo so dejanske vrednosti SAR za to napravo običajno precej nižje od vrednosti, ki so navedene zgoraj. Do tega pride zato, ker se za namene učinkovitosti sistema in zmanjšanja motenj v omrežju obratovalna moč vaše mobilne naprave samodejno zmanjša, kadar za klicanje ni potrebna celotna moč. Nižja izhodna moč naprave pomeni nižjo vrednost SAR.
Testiranje SAR za prednji del obraza je bilo izvedeno na razdalji 1,0 cm. V skladu s smernicami za izpostavljenost radijskim valovom med delovanjem z napravo na prednjem delu obraza, postavite napravo najmanj na takšno razdaljo od obraza.
