Last Update date : Jun 14. 2024
A woman sits at her desk, remotely connecting her computer to a 2024 Samsung Smart TV displaying business charts, in a neatly organized home office.

Daily+ on your 2024 Samsung Smart TV includes the Workspace function, which lets you remotely connect to a Windows PC or Mac. You can select from Easy Connection, Manual Connection, or Screen Sharing to access your Windows PC on your TV. Alternatively, you can connect your Mac to your TV using Screen Mirroring or Remote Login.

Notes:

  • Connecting a keyboard and mouse to the TV before starting will create a convenient environment similar to using a computer.
  • The computer screen, menu names, locations, etc., may vary depending on the OS version.
  • When connecting using screen sharing or screen mirroring, make sure the computer supports wireless screen sharing.

You can use Workspace on your Samsung Smart TV to remotely connect to and use your Windows PC. Connecting using Windows OS is only available on Windows 10 version or later.

1 From the Home screen, navigate to and select Daily+ on the left side of the screen.

  • If the PC enters sleep mode, the connection will be lost and cannot be reestablished. It is recommended to disable the PC's sleep mode for continuous use.
  • Connection to Windows using the Remote Desktop Connection protocol is available in Windows 10 Professional or higher.
  • Screen Sharing: You can wirelessly share your PC’s screen with your TV. Open Quick Settings by selecting the taskbar in the bottom right corner of your PC, then select Connect or Cast, and then select your TV.

  • If the Mac enters sleep mode, the connection will be disconnected and cannot be reconnected. It is recommended to disable sleep mode.
