Customer mechanics

General mechanics:

1. The promo will run for 1 week from Jan 27 to 31, 2024.
2. Promo is open to the general public with age 18 years old and above, currently residing in the Philippines. Employees of Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation, its advertising agency partners and contracted influencers are not eligible to join the contest as well as their relatives up to 2nd party of consanguinity or affinity.
3. Contestants must submit their Tiktok content with the hashtags #GalaxyS24 #GalaxyAIFestival and #Samsung taken during their Galaxy AI Festival event.

Registration:

A.  General Public

1. Participant should be present in the Galaxy AI Festival.
2. Participants should take any video and photo during the Galax AI Festival event to be used for their Tiktok content
3. Participant should Include the official hashtags #GalaxyS24 #GalaxyAIFestival and #Samsung.
4. To qualify for the contest, participants must go to https://samsung.com/ph and register to submit their official entry. Each participant is required to fill up the following details:
 
a. Full name- first name, last name
b. Email Address
c. Home Address
d. Contact Number
e. Birthday
f. TikTok user ID – for reference and verification purposes
g. File Upload – image must not exceed 40MB -
 
i. All fields are required to be filled in, in order to submit the entry.
ii. Only entries registered through our website will be considered for this promotion.
iii. Only videos posted within the promo duration date will be honored for this promotion.*
iv. By participating in this promo, all participants are giving Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation the rights to use all submitted entries in all promotional activities/materials of the promotion.
h. File Upload – Screenshot image of their X/Twitter reply.
5. Participants can only register one (1) entry.
6. Participants that fail to fill out all or a part of the form will be disqualified from the draw.
7. Qualified contestants will be included in the contest screening.
8. There will be three (3) chosen winners from the participants. They will have a chance to win following prizes (one prize per winner).
 
• 1st Prize: Galaxy S24 Ultra 256GB
• 2nd Prize: Round-trip airfare for two to South Korea
• 3rd Prize: Galaxy S24 256GB
9. Only one (1) TikTok entry is counted per participant. Multiple entries are not allowed.
10. Entries will be checked for compliance to mechanics to ensure that all minimum requirements were met. Samsung reserves the right and absolute discretion to shortlist entries/winners as deemed appropriate.
11. Submission of entries and promo schedule are as follows.
 
• Contest Duration: January 27 to 31 ,2024 
• Deadline of submission of entries: January 31, 2024, 11:59PM
• Judging of contestants- February 5, 2024
• Winner Announcement: February 7, 2024
12. Winners will be selected based on three (3) judges from the Samsung team. Selection of winners will be defended to a DTI representative to show why the chosen winners are deserving of the selected prizes based of the criteria of grading. Each entry of the contestant will be shown as well to the DTI representative.
13. Winners are expected to provide their own transportation to the Galaxy AI Festival.
14. Customers can only win once in the contest.
15. Once the winners have been chosen, it is understood that this authorizes Samsung re-post winner’s content on Samsung owned online materials announcing the winners and their entries (i.e winner’s entry and caption). The participant’s uploading of submissions onto Samsung website is an automatic agreement to indemnify and hold Samsung and their agencies free and harmless from and against all liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and charges which may be imposed upon or suffered by Samsung or their agencies.
16. Promo offers are not applicable to B2B or institutional transactions.
17. Prizes are non-transferrable and not convertible to cash.
18. Winners will be announced on the indicated date in the mechanics, via the @SamsungPH account on FB and X (Twitter).
19. Winners will be notified through registered mail or electronic mail.
20. The winners must provide the following when claiming his/her prize: Two valid IDs (SSS or GSIS ID, driver’s license, Postal ID, Voter’s ID, Passport, school ID*) with a complete real name, photograph and signature.
21. In the event that the winners cannot claim his/her prize, an authorized representative may claim on his/her behalf, provided that the representative provides the following: Two (2) valid IDs of the winners (SSS ID or GSIS, driver’s license, Postal ID, Voter’s ID, Passport, school ID*) with a complete real name, photograph and signature.
22. The Winner of the 2 round trip tickets will have their Visa endorsed by Samsung and costs for Visa will be shouldered by Samsung Electronics Philippine Corporation.
