• Transfer via a USB cable: This method involves connecting your new Samsung device to your old one by pairing either a Lightning-to-USB-C-cable or a Lightning-to-USB-A-cable to an On-the-Go (OTG) adapter. Most Samsung devices already come readily packaged with an OTG adapter.
• Transfer via a microSD card or a USB flash drive: This method requires you to back up your old device to either your microSD card or a USB flash drive. You can then reinsert or connect the external storage device to your new Samsung phone and launch a transfer using Smart Switch.
