1. Circle to Search with Google

Developed in collaboration with Google, this AI enhanced gesture completely changes how you look things up on the internet. Circle to Search lets you search for any image or text on your phone’s screen without the hassle of having to leave an app.

Setting up Circle to Search

• Step 1: Open the Settings app and tap on ‘Display’
• Step 2: Tap ‘Navigation Bar’
• Step 3: Set ‘Circle to Search’ to ‘On’

How to use Circle to Search

• Step 1: Tap and hold the ‘Home' key
• Step 2: Circle the object of interest with your finger, or an S Pen
• Step 3: The web search will begin once your finger or S Pen is off the screen

2. Live Translate

You can now speak in a foreign language on the spot with Galaxy AI’s Live Translate. Whether you’re texting or on a phone call, this AI translator does the talking for you. Navigate, reserve, and communicate globally without language barriers.

How to turn on Live translate

• Step 1: Open Settings, and tap on ‘Advanced features’
• Step 2: Tap on ‘Advanced intelligence’
• Step 3: Tap on ‘Phone’
• Step 4: Set the switch to ‘On’
• Step 5: Select a language for yourself in the ‘Me’ section, and the other required language in the ‘Other person’ section

How to use Live translate during phone calls

• Step 1: Use the native phone app to make or receive a call, then tap on ‘Call assist’
• Step 2: Tap on ‘Live translate’
• Step 3: Using the language configuration settings on your device, Bixby automatically starts the conversation

3. Note Assist

Got a mountain of information to tackle? This AI takes notes for you and formats it to be cohesive, converts it into a bite-sized summary, corrects spelling, and translates.

How to access and use Note assist

• Step 1: Open the Samsung Notes app, and tap on the ‘Create note’ icon
• Step 2: Use either the keyboard or the S Pen to type, and tap on the ‘Note assist’ icon above the keyboard
• Step 3: Select one option based on requirement, from Auto format, Summarize, Correct spelling, or Translate

1. Auto format

Uses headers, bullets, and more to restructure your notes for better readability.

• Step 1: Pick from one of the two formatting styles of ‘Headers and bullets’ and ‘Meeting notes’ to apply to your note
• Step 2: View format options by swiping left or right, then leave the format you want on the screen

2. Summarize

Analyzes the content of your notes and then presents a crisp version with all the key information.

• Step 1: Select the ‘Summarize’ option
• Step 2: Your device will analyze the text and present a summary. Copy it to the original note or replace the note with the summary given

3. Correct spelling

Identifies and corrects spelling and punctuation errors in your notes

• Step 1: Select the ‘Correct spelling’ option
• Step 2: All the corrected errors are displayed with a blue underline. You can copy this to the original note, or replace it with the corrected version

4. Translate

Converts your note from one language to other.

• Step 1: Click on the ‘Translate’ option. AI will automatically analyze the text and display a translated version
• Step 2: You can change the language after translation, or add more languages

The Generate cover feature creates thumbnail icons for all your notes, helping you distinguish one set from the other

• Step 1: Open a note from the Notes app, touch and hold the note and tap on More
• Step 2: Select ‘Generate cover’
• Step 3: Tap ‘Done’ to apply the cover

4. Chat Assist

Writing the perfect response to a text can often be challenging. Chat Assist helps you reply with the perfect message by giving you the correct tone and words to choose from. It also allows real time translation of all text messages, making communication a breeze, regardless of the language.

How to setup Chat Assist in a messaging app

• Step 1: Open the Settings app and tap on ‘Advanced features’
• Step 2: Tap ‘Advanced Intelligence’
• Step 3: Select ‘Samsung Keyboard’
• Step 4: Tap on ‘Chat translation’ and set it to ‘On’

How to use Chat translation

This feature allows you to translate any message.

• Step 1: When in a conversation, tap the ‘Writing assist’ icon on your Samsung keyboard
• Step 2: Select ‘Chat translation’
• Step 3: Select the language you prefer from the popup at the top of the screen. The translated appears below the original message

How to change writing style, and check spelling and grammar

Gives you writing suggestions with different tones to craft the perfect response, and fixes spelling and grammar errors.

• Step 1: Tap the ‘Writing assist’ icon after typing a message
• Step 2: Choose one from the ‘Writing style’ or ‘Check spelling and grammar’ options
• Step 3: Now, simply pick the most desired writing style suggestions from the given options, and fix spelling and grammar if required

5. Space Zoom

Zoom to capture every detail of special moments with the Galaxy AI enhanced Space Zoom on the Galaxy S24 series. With 5x optical zoom lens, all intricate details come to life even in low-light settings.

How to use Space Zoom

• Step 1: Open the Camera app, and then tap on ‘Photo’
• Step 2: You can tap zoom icons at the bottom of the screen, or pinch your fingers to zoom in
• Step 3: Tap the capture button, and get the perfect shot

6. Photo Assist

This AI photo assistant improves all your pictures with just a click. Photo Assist takes any element from your picture, and lets you rotate, resize, or even completely remove it. The Artificial Intelligence feature then fills the background automatically with Generative edit.

How to use Photo Assist for Generative edits

• Step 1: Open the Gallery app and select the photo you want to edit
• Step 2: Tap the ‘Edit’ icon and enter editing mode
• Step 3: Tap the ‘Generative edit’ icon
• Step 4: Select an object by tapping it or drawing a line around it
• Step 5: Delete, move, or resize the object by long-pressing on it
• Step 6: Adjust the tilt lever to align the image based on your requirements, and tap ‘Generate’
• Step 7: Tap ‘Done’ and save as a copy
