How to reset your cell phone to factory settings?

In most cases, system failures on a Smartphone are caused by third-party applications or configurations of the Android system. Here are the steps to follow to correct these cases:

Note: When you factory reset your smartphone, any data you have on your device will be deleted.
It is recommended to make a data backup before performing this process. If you find it necessary, you can do this factory reset at any Samsung service center.

From the home screen, swipe up or down with one finger to access the Applications screen.

Swipe to the bottom to see more options

Select general administration

Click on Reset

Tap on Reset to default values

Read the information and scroll down

Tap on Reset. If you have set up a Samsung account or a screen lock, you need to enter your credentials to continue.

To delete all your data and downloaded apps, select Delete all. This will allow you to reset the device to its factory settings.
