The SmartThings app can be a simple, easy remote controller for your device. To use the various and convenient dishwasher features via the app, connect your Samsung dishwasher to the SmartThings app on your smartphone. Then, simply select and tap the functions on the screen that you desire.

Make sure your dishwasher and smartphone are on the Wi-Fi network before starting. All functions are available with a Wi-Fi connection. After logging in to the SmartThings app with your Samsung Account and choosing the settings, the SmartThings app and dishwasher will sync automatically.

Please note that the SmartThings home screen categories may vary depending on the local circumstances or the device model you have. 

It's simple and easy to set a basic washing cycle. Follow the steps below. You can add additional settings for the cycles on the screen. 

Step 1.

Tap Normal to see the cycle options.

Step 2.

Select the desired Cycle and tap OK. The options are Auto, Normal, Heavy, Delicate, Express 60', Rinse Only, and Self Clean.

Step 3.

Select Rack Selection to set the washing details for a specific rack inside the dishwasher.

Step 4.

Select Zone Booster to intensify the washing power for the lower rack.

Step 5.

Select the Speed Booster to turn it on or off.

Step 6.

Tap to select the Hi-Temp wash function to turn it on or off.

Step 7.

Select the Sanitize function to turn it on or off. You can select the water temperature for the final rinse cycle of the high-temperature sanitization.

Step 8.

Select the Delay start function to delay a cycle for up to 24 hours.
