What are the steps to connect a Mp3 Player to a PC?

Refer to these steps when you connect Mp3 player to the PC.

a. PC connection

i) Connect the larger end of the USB cable to the USB Connection Port on the bottom of the player.

ii) Connect the USB cable to the USB port on your PC.

b. Installation of Emodio and WMP10 or higher

i)  Install the Emodio program for file transfer.

ii) Install WMP10 or higher version for MTP device.

What is Emodio?

Emodio is the Software (Application Program) which helps you to transfer files and convert the files according to player compatibility.

It is replacement for Samsung Media Studio Software and is currently in the Beta stages of development.

Do I have to use Emodio?

No.  Samsung players are compatible with most music software however; you may need to use Samsung software if you want to transfer video to your device.

PC REQUIREMENTS

Your PC system must meet the following minimum specifications in order to install and run EmoDio:

a. Pentium 500MHz or higher

b. USB Port 2.0

c. Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher

d. DirectX 9.0 or higher

e. 100MB of free hard disc space

f. Windows Media Player 10.0 or higher

g. Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
