Use Voice Enhance mode with your soundbar and Smart TV
When you connect a Samsung soundbar to your Samsung Smart TV to watch movies or programs, you may notice that the dialogue sounds quieter compared to the background music or sound effects. If adjusting the TV's volume or equalizer settings doesn't significantly improve the dialogue clarity, you can try enabling the Voice Enhance feature on your Samsung soundbar. Voice Enhance mode improves the quality of dialogue in movies and TV shows, making it easier to hear. You can enable Voice Enhance mode using the soundbar’s remote control or the SmartThings app on your phone.
Note: The Voice Enhance function is supported on 2022 and later Samsung soundbar models.
To activate Voice Enhance mode using the soundbar’s remote control, follow the steps below:
Note: The Center channel typically handles most of the spoken content in movies and shows. Adjusting this setting will make spoken audio more distinct from background audio.
Note: The channel level can be adjusted between -6 dB and +6 dB.
To activate Voice Enhance mode using the SmartThings app on your phone, follow the steps below:
Note: The channel level can be adjusted from -6 dB to +6 dB. Tap Reset to reset the Channel Level settings.
Notes:
- SmartThings feature support and specifications may vary by model.
- The User Interface (UI) may vary depending on the software version, model, and other factors.
