Panel Care functions on Samsung OLED TVs

Adjust the Panel Care settings of select OLED Samsung TVs to help protect the TV’s screen. You can allow pixels to shift at regular intervals, adjust the brightness of fixed images such as logos or allow your screen to adjust pixels to provide a clearer picture.

Follow the guide below to learn how to do so.

Note:

  • Panel Care settings are available on select OLED TVs.
  • Screens and images are simulated. Functions may vary depending on the model and country.
1 Press the Home button on your remote control and then head to Settings.

2 Navigate to and select All Settings.

3 Navigate to and select General & Privacy.

4 Navigate to and select Panel Care.

Pixel Shift: Moves the screen's pixels at regular intervals. Select Pixel Shift to turn on the function. Select Pixel Shift again to turn it off.

Note: To prevent afterimage when viewing content with a lot of static images, turn on the Pixel Shift mode.

Adjust Logo Brightness: Lowers the brightness of fixed images, such as logos and banners, to prevent afterimage on the screen. Select Adjust Logo Brightness, then select Low or High to use the function. Select Off to turn it off.

Pixel Refresh: Adjusts pixels to provide a clearer screen. Some features, such as reservation, recording and voice recognition, do not work during Pixel Refresh.

Note: Run this function when there is afterimage on the screen. Some features will not work when Pixel Refresh is enabled.
