Why the Charging Stops working while using the Fast Wireless Charger in Galaxy S8|S8+?

If the Charging is Stopped intermittently during charging with Samsung fast Wireless Charger, Please try again with another data cable. A damaged data cable may cause the unstable charging.

For your safety, Samsung has applied charging algorithm to protect device overheating. If the temperature of the device is higher than a specific temperature, charging will be stopped automatically.

In Samsung authorized wireless charger, cooling mechanism (such as cooling fan, air hole…) is applied. But if Galaxy S8/S8+ is charged with a un-authorized charger which does have a cooling mechanism, the temperature of device or charger may be raised during charging. (ex. when the Galaxy S8/S8+ is not aligned with wireless charger .. etc) In this case, charging may be stopped by the protection algorithm, and it’s normal operation.
