How to set and remove Fingerprint Lock in Samsung Galaxy A5-2016(SM-A510FD)?

The methods for securing mobile devices have increased in recent years to include more advanced features. Fingerprint-locking a mobile device is becoming more and more advanced, and Samsung is one of the leaders in this move towards better security. 

 

Apps → Settings → Lock screen and security → Fingerprints → Successfully add fingerprints → Create backup password  

 

Below mentioned are the pictorial representation as follows :  

 

a). Tap on Apps icon from the Home screen.

b). Tap on Settings icon.

 

. 

 

c). Select and tap on Lock screen and security settings.

 

. 

 

d). Tap Fingerprints.

 

. 

 

e). Tap Add Fingerprints.

 

. 

 

f). Place your Finger on the Home key then lift it off again.

 

. 

 

g). Move your Finger upwards or downwards slightly between attempts.

 

. 

 

h). It will show Success. Then tap SET.

i). Enter Backup password. Then tap CONTINUE.

 

.     . 

 

j). Confirm Backup Password. Then tap OK.

 

.     . 

 

k). Your Fingerprint is set, to remove Tap EDIT.

 

. 

 

l). Tap Select Fingerprints.

 

. 

 

m). Tap Remove. The selected fingerprint will be removed and the screen lock type will be changed to Swipe.

 

.
