How to create a shared calendar in Samsung Galaxy devices

A shared calendar can make managing schedules and staying organized much simpler for families, friends, or co-workers. In this step-by-step guide, we'll show you how to create a shared calendar on your Samsung device quickly and efficiently.

Note:

  • Screens and Images are simulated, for illustrative purpose only.
  • Samsung device to be logged in with Samsung Account.
  • Calendar app is preinstalled in your device.

1 Open the Calendar app.

2 Tap on More (located at the top left side).

3 Tap on Settings icon.

4 Scroll down to Manage calendars.

5 Go to the Samsung account section and tap on Create shared calendar.

6 Add a name and choose a color for your calendar as per your preference.

7 Tap on Create to save the new shared calendar.

8 After creating, you will receive a popup screen to invite people to the shared calendar. Tap on Choose contacts or add Samsung accounts or you can share the link to anyone to join.

9 Tap on Invite.

10 Confirm by tapping OK to share the calendar.

11 The shared calendar will now appear under the Samsung Account section.

1 Open the Calendar app and select the date when you want to add the event.

2 From the available calendars, choose the shared calendar you want to use for the event.

3 Enter the event details (e.g., title, location, description, etc.) and tap on Save.

4 Your event will now be visible to others who have access to the shared calendar.
