Don't panic if your Samsung Top Loader Washing machine begins to leak water onto the floor! In most cases, you can fix the issue yourself.

To stop the leakage, first locate the source of the leak. Empty the washing machine, move it away from the wall, and start the fill cycle. While the machine fills with water, check for drips around the water supply hose connection at the back of the machine.

Turn off the water and replace any old, heavily corroded, or rusted hoses with new ones (see photo). If the hoses are in good condition, only replace the internal washers as shown below.

Ensure that the door is securely closed. Check that the hose connections are tight. The image below demonstrates how to tightly connect the water supply hose to the water inlet.

Ensure that the end of the drain hose is correctly inserted and secured to the drain facility, as shown in the two pictures below.

To avoid leakage, do not overload the washing machine with clothes. Use a highly efficient detergent to prevent excessive suds.

Using less efficient detergents can cause over-suds and water leaks from the door, detergent drawer, or back of the washing machine.

Finally, make sure the washing machine is leveled properly on the floor.
