How to prevent battery leakages in a Samsung air conditioner remote control
If your Samsung air conditioner’s remote control batteries are leaking, the remote will show signs of discoloration or stains. These leaks can cause PBA board shorts, glitches, and operational failures. You can remove and replace the batteries every few months, which will prevent remote control issues.
Remove and replace the batteries
If the remote control batteries are leaking, you may see stains or discoloration on the remote. In this case, the batteries should be checked, removed, and replaced.
- Remove the battery cover on the rear of the remote control.
- Remove the two batteries.
- Insert two new batteries (AAA size), and then replace the battery cover.
- If needed, check the batteries every few months to ensure there are no leakages. This will prevent future operational issues.
