When refrigerator or freezer doors do not close properly, they will impair cooling performance and eventually cause frost to form. If you are experiencing problems closing your refrigerator door properly, follow the troubleshooting guide below:

1 Ensure the door does not have too much weight.
2 Check the door seal for blockage (e.g., debris) that prevents the door from closing. Clean the door seal using a soft cloth with warm water to remove any obstructions.
3 Check if the refrigerator is level; adjust the legs if necessary to align the door.
4 Inspect the door seal for damage (e.g., tears, missing/brittle sections); replace if needed.
5 Ensure that all shelves and drawers are properly pushed inside.
1 Sometimes it may happen due to vacuum creation inside refrigerator. To resolve it, please check whether the drain pipe is dipped in water of drain tray or not. If dipped, then remove water from drain tray.
2 Set the temperature accordingly to the food load. Do not set it too cold if less food is stored.
3 Clean the door seal.
1 Overfilled refrigerators may cause poor door sealing. Remove some items and try closing the door again.
2 Clean the door seals using warm water and a damp cloth, followed by a dry cloth.
3 Inspect the rubber seal around the door. Make sure it is not warped or damaged, preventing the door from closing.
