Terms and Conditions of Samsung Promotion (the “Promotion”):
1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion period is valid from 18 Jan to 3o April 2024 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
2. Unless otherwise specified, to be eligible for the Promotion, cardholders (“Cardholders”) are required to settle payment with Visa or Mastercard credit cards issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”), including Standard Chartered credit card and its co-branded card, MANHATTAN credit card and its co-branded card (except Standard Chartered Business Card, Standard Chartered Corporate Card and Standard Chartered UnionPay Dual Currency Platinum credit card) (“Eligible Cards”).
3. To be eligible for the Promotion, Cardholders are required to make a purchase at Samsung Online Shop ( samsung.com/hk_en/offer/sc/ ) and designated Samsung Experience Stores (together, the “Merchant”) with Eligible Cards and fulfil spending requirements as follows:
i) Offer 1: Up to 6% CashBack upon single net spending of HKD3,000 – HKD7,999.99; up to 8% CashBack upon single net spending of HKD8,000 – HKD10,999.99 and up to 10% CashBack upon single net spending of HKD11,000 or more (together, “Eligible Transaction”). This Offer 1 is not applicable to split transactions and only single net spending amount after instant discount (if applicable) will be calculated. CashBack is based on the net spending amount in integer, net spending amount of less than HKD1 will not be calculated. Each Cardholder is only entitled to enjoy this Offer 1 (either in the form of CashBack or Cash Rebate (in the case of Q Credit Card)) once and a maximum of HKD2,000 CashBack amount (or Cash Rebate amount in the case of Q Credit Card) during the Promotion Period, regardless of how many times the spending requirements are met and how many Eligible Cards each Cardholder holds. For the avoidance of doubt, after calculating 6% or 8% or 10% of each Eligible Transaction, CashBack will be combined and the maximum CashBack for each Cardholder will be HKD2,000 in total.
ii) Offer 2: Enjoy corresponding interest-free merchant instalment offers upon single net spending of designated amounts listed below. This Offer 2 must be applied at the time of purchase via Samsung Online Shop and designated Samsung Experience Stores in Hong Kong. Application for this Offer 2 via the Bank after the purchase will not be accepted. Please apply for the instalment offers at the Merchant before settling the payment.

4. Offer 1 and Offer 2 can be used in conjunction. The offers are NOT applicable to transactions made via any e-wallets (including but not limited to Alipay, WeChat and TapnGo). Offer 1 is applicable to transactions made via mobile payment purchase (including but not limit to Samsung Pay).
5. Unless otherwise specified, the Promotion irrespective of its form including but not limited to gifts, discounts or cash coupons, are not redeemable for cash, exchangeable or transferable, and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers.
6. All offers are available on a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last. Any change of the offers will be subject to the availability at the time of patronage.
7. The Promotion may be subject to additional terms and conditions stipulated by the Merchant, please contact the Merchant for details.
8. All photos and product information are for reference only.
9. The Promotion shall be terminated immediately upon closure of the Merchant.
10. Cardholders understand and accept that the Bank is not the supplier of the products and/or services supplied by the Merchant under or in connection with the offer(s). The Bank shall bear no liability relating to any aspect of the products and/or services, including without limitation, their quality, the supply, the descriptions of products and/or services provided by the Merchant, any false trade description, misrepresentation, mis-statement, omission, unauthorized representation, unfair trade practices or conduct in connection with the promotion of the offer(s) or in making available the offer(s) or the products and/or services under the Promotion, by the Merchant, its employees, officers or agents.
11. Personal data of Cardholders may be collected by the Merchant and the use of such personal data shall be subject to the personal information collection statement of the Merchant. Please contact the Merchant for related details.
12. The Bank and the Merchant reserve the right to alter, extend, or terminate the Promotion and amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In case of disputes, the decision of the Bank and the Merchant shall be final and binding.
13. In case of any disputes, Cardholders are required to present the relevant original sales receipts and credit card sales slips for further investigation by the Bank.
14. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
Additional Terms and Condition for Offer 1 – Up to 10% CashBack
15. Registration for Offer 1: Cardholders are required to register at www.sc.com/hk/samsung within the Promotion Period for the purchase made at designated Samsung Experience Stores. If Cardholders make the purchase at Samsung Online Shop, registration is not required.
16. Offer 1 is limited to the first 2,000 Eligible Transactions ("Quota") based on transaction date and on a first-come-first-served basis. The Quota is calculated based on the record of the Bank which shall be conclusive. If the Quota is full, it will be stated in the related promotional webpage of the Bank, please visit the webpage before patronage.
17. All Eligible Transactions must be completed and posted on or before 7 May 2024 based on the transaction dates as shown on the credit card monthly statement.
18. Eligible Transactions made by the principal and supplementary Cardholders of the same Eligible Card account will be both counted as Eligible Transactions for the Eligible Card account. Each Eligible Card account will be entitled to a maximum HKD2,000 CashBack (or Cash Rebate in the case of Q Credit Card) amount during the whole Promotion Period. Eligible Transactions of different Eligible Card accounts held by the same account holder will be counted collectively, CashBack will be rewarded to the Eligible Card with the highest amount of Eligible Transaction.
19. Eligible Card accounts must be valid, non-delinquent and in good financial standing when the CashBack (or Cash Rebate in the case of Q Credit Card) is to be credited to the said account. CashBack (or Cash Rebate in the case of Q Credit Card) cannot be drawn as cash advance, is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and cannot offset any outstanding credit card payment due. Unless otherwise specified, the Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers.
20. Unless otherwise specified, the CashBack earned will be shown on the "360° Rewards" online redemption platform in July 2024, and will not be automatically credited to Cardholders' accounts, but can be freely redeemed for cash on the online platform. The minimum threshold for CashBack redemption is HKD50 per account and in multiples of HKD50. Redemption of CashBack is subject to relevant terms and conditions. 21. Instead of CashBack, Cash Rebate will be offered to Cardholders who have used Q Credit Card as the Eligible Card in the Eligible Transaction upon fulfilment of the relevant requirements. The Cash Rebate will be credited to the Cardholder’s Q Credit Card account in July 2024.
22. Cardholders shall notify the Bank if they do not receive the CashBack / Cash Rebate by 31 August 2024. Otherwise, the Bank accepts no liability and will not be liable for any compensation.
Additional Terms and Conditions for Offer 2 – interest-free instalment offer:
23. To be eligible for the instalment offer, Cardholders are required to spend a designated amount on one single net transaction at Samsung Online Shop and designated Samsung Experience Stores in Hong Kong.
24. By participating in any of the Interest-free Instalment Program, Cardholders are deemed to have accepted and bound by the Terms and Conditions of "Credit Card Instalment Program Cardholder Agreement / Credit Card Instalment Plan” posted on the Bank’s website https://av.sc.com/hk/content/docs/hk-tnc-credit-card-instalment-plan-en.pdf .
25. The instalment offer may be applicable only to selected items and the instalments term may vary, depending on the items and Merchant. For further details of the instalment offer, please contact the Merchant.
