Company, Limited today announced the upcoming launch of Samsung Wallet in Hong Kong, a new platform that integrates Samsung Pay, Samsung Pass, Smart Octopus, and a host of other services to provide consumers with an unprecedented convenient experience, enjoying a worry-free mobile payment experience anytime, anywhere. Supported by Samsung Knox, Samsung Wallet ensures all users’ privacy is securely protected. Samsung Wallet will be available for Galaxy users [1] from 30 January onwards through the software update [2].
Samsung Wallet will be available in more markets in 2023, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan [3]. Since Samsung Wallet first launched in June 2022, it has been widely supporting users in 21 markets including Bahrain, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Korea [4], Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Vietnam, UAE, the U.K., and the U.S.

Samsung Wallet is a secure and easy-to-use application that not only integrates Samsung Pay's mobile payment service and Samsung Pass' identity management service into one platform, Samsung Wallet will also support services such as digital keys and boarding passes; upgrading mobile experience to meet various needs of users in a simple way.
Samsung Wallet's straightforward user interface provides clear guidance to consumers. Simply swipe up from the bottom of the phone’s screen to present the credit card or membership card, so users won’t be worried about forgetting their wallet at home. Smart Octopus, one of the most popular services for local users, will continue to be supported by Samsung Wallet, making it easy to move around with just the phone.
In addition to payment services, Samsung Wallet can also securely store passwords for quick access to applications and services, simplifying consumers’ daily lives while meeting more mobile needs.
SmartThings’ digital key allows users to unlock electronic door locks anywhere and more conveniently through Samsung Wallet [5].
The cooperation between Samsung and Korean Air allows boarding passes to be stored and used in Samsung Wallet, making an easier and hassle-free boarding experience [6].
Samsung will continue to work closely with trusted partners around the world to provide users with more diversified and novel experiences.
