Each model features a lightweight and flexible design, combined with innovative mobile technology, empowering users with non-stop creativity and productivity.

Light and Powerful to Record Endless Creativity

The Galaxy Book2 series are designed to be thin and light, tailored for the changing work environment of today's generation. The Galaxy Book2 series features a lightweight full aluminum body that provides military-grade durability and ultimate mobility. The Galaxy Book2 series are durable, ultra-portable and stylish – slim and built-tough, users don't have to worry about accidentally damaging the computer even if they have to work outdoors often. In addition, the Galaxy Book2 series have introduced models equipped with 360° hinges in a class of its own, creating a 2-in-1 convertible design, so users can easily rotate the touch screen by 360°, conveniently transforming it into a tablet or laptop. With the S Pen, which has a writing experience of a real pen, the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 users can write, draw or multi-task on the computer at any time, and record their daily life whenever.

 

The Galaxy Book2 series have also been upgraded in hardware. Equipped with the latest 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processor, the series enables users to work, conduct video calls, and game with smooth and reliable performance. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Book2 series are also equipped with long-lasting battery, allowing users to use it for a whole day even when they are not plugged in. Even when it’s out of power, users can charge quickly with the ultra-fast USB Type-C universal charger[1] that can power every Galaxy mobile device, allowing users to carry just one charger while traveling.

 

Optimized Camera Lens and Audio System Enhances Working-from-Home and Connecting with Friends Abroad

The new Galaxy Book2 series have seen a significant boost in video calling. The Galaxy Book2 is equipped with a 720p HD webcam, while the Galaxy Book2 Pro has been upgraded to 1080p FHD front lens and a wider field of view angles[2]. The upgraded camera is paired with a new and advanced Studio Mode[3], including the new Auto Framing, which tracks and keeps the moving user in the center of the frame, offering a novel experience in video conferencing. New background effects and Face Effects can add special effects or virtual backgrounds to remove visual distractions and can enhance your appearance so that users maintain their best image in video conferences or when contacting relatives and friends. The notebooks are also equipped with AMOLED[4] displays, which are now brighter[5], allowing the subject of the call and other contents to be displayed with great clarity.

 

In terms of audio, the Galaxy Book2 series are equipped with Bi-directional AI noise cancelling[6] that blocks distracting noises from different callers’ background, so the call quality is greatly improved. Additionally, the Max 5W output [7]Smart Amp and AKG and Dolby Atmos sound technology produce balanced sound at louder volumes, making video calls easier.

 

Upgraded Performance Makes Work Easier as Work-from-Home Becomes Routine

The Galaxy Ecosystem provides a variety of connected experiences, helping users reduce the hassles in daily life. Especially as working from home has become the new routine, Samsung understands that users' demand for PC to process documents and paperwork has also increased significantly. The upgraded Private Share[8] makes it easy for users to share sensitive work documents with colleagues. By providing timed links with increased security options, including view only, disabling screen capture abilities while viewing and fully revoking access, users can control the use or access of files even after sharing, making it easier to work with sensitive company files. The new Link Sharing option allows users to transfer large files through Quick Share[9], converting files into easily sharable links that recipients can access and quickly share from their PC to other devices.

 

Samsung also introduced a series of new features to help users seamlessly connect to the Galaxy Ecosystem, enabling a smooth working experience. Link to Windows or Microsoft Your Phone[10] pairs Galaxy smartphones with the Galaxy Book2 series, and offers Recent Apps, where users can now check the status of their smartphones by simply swiping up on their Windows 11 taskbar, and even open recently used smartphone apps directly on their desktops, allowing users to sync their phones with their computers at any time, even when commuting. Through Samsung Multi Control[11], users can use the keyboard and trackpad of the Galaxy Book2 series to control the Galaxy Tab S8 for seamless interaction across devices, and even use the Galaxy Tab S8 as a second screen. With the new Bixby[12] voice control functionality, users can control IoT devices through voice prompts. In addition, if the Galaxy Book2 series device are unfortunately misplaced, SmartThings Find[13] can help users locate the device in real-time, even when it is turned off.

 

Samsung also understands that users are more sensitive to data security when working from home, so the device has made further security enhancements. The Galaxy Book2 series features a high-security core configuration that provides a higher level of protection for Windows 11 with sophisticated advanced hardware, firmware, and software to boost protection against potential cyberattacks. The Galaxy Book2 Pro is a consumer PC in line with Microsoft’s secured-core PC[14] requirements; thus, users can easily enjoy enhanced security protection when using the computer to process personal data or company files.

 

New Functions for Easy Operation

Samsung knows that the most troublesome thing is to transfer data and reset all personalized settings when users buy a new computer. In response, Samsung's Galaxy Book Experience helps users become familiar with exclusive Galaxy features and transfers their data to new devices. Through Single Sign-On with Samsung Account, users can instantly have access to apps and content on their Galaxy devices, including Samsung Gallery, Samsung Notes, and have their Galaxy Buds[15] ready for pairing by entering their username and password once. This new experience also guides users through the Galaxy Book Smart Switch[16] process, helping users transfer old data, photos, settings and more, from their old PC regardless of brand, to their new PC.
