Does the soundbar's design matter?
There are several different soundbar design options to choose from. Let’s check them out.
Soundbars are typically long and sleek. Here are some tips to help you choose the right one that blends seamlessly into your space.
3 things to consider when choosing a soundbar design
Match your TV’s length
It’s good to know your TV's length before you start because the soundbar usually goes just below it. You want a balanced look, so the soundbar should be either the same length or just a bit shorter than your TV. Have a look at our suggestions for TV and soundbar style pairing below.

Check which installation type works for you
You should also consider how you’re going to install your soundbar. Do you want it mounted to the wall or placed on a stand?
Wall mount
If you have a wall-mounted TV, we recommend you mount your soundbar on the wall as well. To optimize the audio, install it slightly below the TV. Make sure your soundbar can be installed on the wall before purchase.
Stand
If your TV is on a stand, it's best to center the soundbar directly in front of it. To ensure a seamless fit, start by measuring the length of your TV stand, considering the variety of sizes and shapes available. Also, take into account the dimensions of your TV console, as the chosen soundbar should be smaller than the TV console in both size and width.
