Galaxy S24 | S24+

Samsung Electronics announced new Galaxy S24 series, unleashing new mobile experience with Galaxy AI. Galaxy S24 | S24+ continue to scale the variety of recycled materials in Galaxy devices by applying recycled plastics, glass and aluminum, and now for the first time, Galaxy S24 | S24+ feature components made with recycled cobalt, rare earth elements and steel.
Galaxy S24 | S24+ offer seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates to help users reliably experience the optimized performance of their Galaxy devices for even longer.¹⁾

  • Recycled Cobalt
    • Cobalt used in the S24+ battery contains 50% recycled cobalt. (10% for the S24)
  • Recycled Rare Earth Elements
    • All magnets in the top and bottom speaker modules are made of 100% recycled rare earth elements.
  • Recycled Steel
    • Steel in the top and bottom speaker modules contains at least 40% recycled steel.²⁾
  • Recycled Plastic
    • Recycled plastic is included in various components such as the speaker modules, front case, and deco film for the back glass.³⁾
  • Recycled Aluminum
    • Aluminum in the side key, volume key and SIM card tray contains 28% recycled
      aluminum, in the case of rear camera deco, 30%.
  • Recycled Glass
    • Glass in the front screen and back cover contains an average of 25% recycled glass.

  • Availability and timing of Android OS upgrades and security updates may vary by device model and market.
  • Recycled materials have undergone RECYCLED CONTENT CERTIFICATION by SCS Global Services.
