Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung Electronics announced the new Galaxy S25 Series, offering enhanced Galaxy AI experiences. The series utilizes various recycled materials to do more with less of the planet's resources. To advance circularity, Samsung ha established a new Circular Battery Supply Chain that sources cobalt from batteries in previously used Galaxy devices as well as from discarded batteries during manufacturing for the Galaxy S25 Series.

    • Obtained UL’s ECOLOGO certification, which indicates the product’s compliance with stringent environmental performance criteria throughout its life cycle, including energy reduction and materials.
  1. Galaxy S25 Series incorporates recycled materials in various components, including but not limited to 80% recycled plastic in the Back Glass Deco Film, 30% recycled plastic in the Volume Key and Side Key, 20% recycled plastic in the Top & Bottom Speaker Module (Upper and Lower) and 10% recycled plastic in the Front Case.
  2. The magnets used in the Speaker Modules and Motor are made from 100% recycled rare earth elements (neodymium).
  3. Some steel components in the Speaker Modules contain at least 40% recycled material, including 40% recycled steel in the Galaxy S25 and S25+ Bottom Speaker Module Upper, 40% in the Galaxy S25 Ultra Top Speaker Module Grill, and 70% in the Bottom Speaker Module Lower of the S25 series.
  4. The front screen and back cover glass for the S25 and S25+ as well as back cover glass for the S25 Ultra contain an average of 25% recycled glass
  5. The bonding wire in the Front and 3x Telephoto Camera Modules of the S25 Ultra, as well as the gold plating on the Main Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) of the S25 and S25+, is made from 100% recycled gold.
  6. The copper foil used in components such as Display, Camera, Wireless Charging Module, and main Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) is made 100% of recycled copper.
  7. A minimum of 25% of the Galaxy S25 Ultra battery is cobalt by weight, 50% of which is recycled cobalt.
  8. In the S25 Ultra, the Volume Key and Side Key contain 28% recycled aluminum, while the Internal Front Case Inserts and Rear Camera Deco contain 30% recycled aluminum. In the S25 and S25+, the Armor Aluminum used in the Front Case contains 20% recycled material.
