Here’s the new name for Galaxy S:
Galaxy S20, not S11.

With the start of a new decade, we’re celebrating 10 years of Galaxy, and introducing a whole new Galaxy S phone that builds on the innovation we’ve achieved throughout the years. And because people are communicating and expressing themselves in brand new ways, our revolutionary phone needed an appropriately new name.

We chose Galaxy S20 because we wanted a name that kicks off the next ten years of innovation. This year, 2020, begins a whole new decade and marks Samsung as a pioneer of a mobile ecosystem powered by 5G, AI, and IoT. And in this new decade, our vision is to create new mobile experiences that flow seamlessly wherever you go — transcending the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds.

That’s why it’s not the Galaxy S11. It’s the dawn of the next generation of Galaxy: Galaxy S20.
