Intelligent Mode on your Samsung Smart TV or Smart Monitor is designed to adapt to its surroundings, the content you're viewing, and how you use your device to optimize your viewing experience. Whether you're casually watching cartoons or deeply engaged in an action-packed movie and want to catch every sound, this mode intelligently adjusts the display and sound settings to ensure the best possible performance.

Notes:

  • Intelligent Mode is available exclusively on select models, including Samsung OLED TVs, QLED TVs, and the Odyssey Ark.
  • Some functions are only available when the TV's sound output is set to TV Speaker.
  • Certain functions may not be supported by some modes or apps, such as Ambient Mode, Art Mode, and Game Mode.

Imagine your Smart TV could adjust itself to make what you're watching look and sound better, depending on the time of day or what's on the screen. For example, if you're watching a movie during the day, the TV can make the picture brighter and clearer so it's easy to see, even with sunlight coming through the window. And at night, it can soften the picture so it's more comfortable on your eyes. Plus, if the room gets noisy, the Smart TV can even make the voices in your show louder and clearer so you won’t miss a word. That’s what Intelligent Mode does—it helps your TV automatically adjust to give you the best viewing experience without you needing to press any buttons.

Delving into specifics, Intelligent Mode includes features like Adaptive Picture, which automatically adjusts the screen's brightness and contrast based on the room's lighting conditions—ensuring the picture always looks its best. EyeComfort Mode changes the screen's settings to reduce blue light, easing the strain on your eyes, especially beneficial during long viewing sessions or at night. Moreover, sound enhancements like Active Voice Amplifier increase dialogue volume when the room gets noisy, ensuring you never miss important lines in your favorite shows or movies.
