Samsung Smart TVs and Smart Monitors include Maintenance Mode–a vital feature that allows you to protect your privacy by allowing access to only the most basic functions required to carry out any necessary repairs. While activating Maintenance Mode, you can also backup your preferences, like Picture settings, and then restore them once the repairs are completed; so should you ever need to send your device to one of our service centers for repairs, follow this guide to switch your Smart TV or Smart Monitor into Maintenance Mode.

Note: Supported on 2022 and later model Samsung Smart TVs and Smart Monitors.

Many apps that are downloaded onto a user’s Smart TV or Smart Monitor require personal information, such as credit card numbers; so before sending your device for repairs, follow the instructions below to safeguard your privacy by activating Maintenance Mode.
