How to properly wear your Galaxy Buds
In the past, you may have worn earbuds that either pinched your ears or were too loose. Both options are equally uncomfortable, whether you are out jogging or just listening to music. Thankfully, you will never have those problems with your Samsung earbuds. If they do not fit right, you can simply swap the earbud tips and wingtips. If you wear your buds correctly, it will help ensure they remain comfortable while providing the best sound and call quality possible.
Information provided applies to devices sold in Canada. Available screens and settings may vary for earbuds sold in other countries. Do not insert the earbuds in your ears without earbud tips or wingtips because it may harm your ears. Do not pull the earbud tip or wingtip excessively because they may tear.
Your Galaxy Buds Pro come with earbud tips that are similar to those on the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds+. Start by flipping the earbud tip inside out, and then insert it over the latch at the bottom of the earbud. Make sure to line up the hole on the earbud tip with the latch on the bud. Then, push the earbud tip down to finish attaching it.
When wearing the earbuds, there should not be a gap or space between the ear and the ear tip.
If there is a gap between the ear tip and the earbud, sound may leak out and the earbuds' performance may be poor. Please make sure that the ear tips and the earbud grooves fit properly, and try to reinsert them so that there is no space between the ear and the ear tip. If you are still having performance issues, please try changing the ear tips to a larger size.
Note: Charge your earbuds in their charging case prior to wearing them.
Before wearing your Galaxy Buds Pro, make sure the earbud tips are attached. Wearing your earbuds properly will ensure they remain comfortable when you are listening to your favorite content.
- Hold the earbud with the microphone and earbud tip facing downward. The Galaxy Buds Pro do not have wingtips. They should be inserted straight into your ears so that the microphone rests right outside your inner ear.
- You can adjust the earbuds by rotating them to the left or right to fit your ears.
- If the earbud tips do not fit comfortably, you can try a different size to get a tighter seal. This will improve the microphone’s performance and provide a stronger sound.
- Regularly clean your earbuds to keep them in the best condition possible, especially if you use them often.
- The proximity sensor will automatically detect that you are wearing the earbuds when you put them on. Once this happens, they will turn on and emit a beep. If the proximity sensor does not make contact with your ear, the earbud may not work.
Your Galaxy Buds Live come with small and large wingtips that you can swap out for a more secure fit. You could even use different sizes for each ear.
Select the best fitting pair of wingtips that came in the box with your earbuds. Check for the L or R marks on the wingtips so you can correctly place them on the left or right earbud. Hook the wingtip onto the earbud, and then cover the earbud with the wingtip. Repeat the process for the other earbud.
Note: Before using your earbuds for the first time, charge them in their charging case.
Make sure you are using the correct size wingtips for your ears, so you can comfortably listen to music.

The earbud tips for Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds+ differ slightly from other models. Flip the earbud tip inside out, and insert it over the latch at the bottom of the earbud, lining up the hole on the earbud tip over the latch. Then, push the earbud tip down to attach to the latch.
Just like you did for the earbud tips, you will need to select the best fitting pair of wingtips. Depending on the earbuds you have, you will have different wingtips to choose from. Cover the earbud with the wingtip, and then adjust it so it is seated properly on the earbud. Also, make sure the heart rate sensor is not blocked, if your earbuds have one. Repeat the steps for the other earbud.
