Combining Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch for health tracking
The Galaxy Ring is equipped with advanced health tracking features, including heart rate and sleep monitoring. When used alongside a Galaxy Watch, it allows for comprehensive health monitoring throughout both devices. All data can be easily accessed and reviewed via the Samsung Health app on your connected phone.
Note: The information provided applies to the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch sold in Canada. While it should also apply internationally, please be aware that regional differences may exist.
Combining the Galaxy Ring with a Galaxy Watch, such as the Galaxy Watch7 or Galaxy Watch Ultra, enhances the utility of their shared health features and extends the Galaxy Ring’s battery life by up to 30%. With both devices on, the Galaxy Watch takes precedence as the primary device, conserving power on the Galaxy Ring by temporarily disabling some features such as heart rate and sleep tracking. Should the Galaxy Watch run out of battery, the Galaxy Ring will seamlessly resume health tracking, ensuring no interruption in data monitoring.
The health data from both the Galaxy Ring and the Galaxy Watch can be synchronized and viewed on the Samsung Health app. It's important to note that there might be a slight delay in data availability as it syncs to the app.
For continuous health tracking, you can charge one device while wearing the other without missing any health tracking benefits.
Note: When gestures are enabled on both devices, they will default to the Galaxy Watch when both are worn simultaneously.
