When your clothes don't come out as clean as expected from your Samsung washer, it often isn't an issue with the washer itself, especially if it's functioning properly in other respects. In many cases, the secret to spotless laundry lies in how you use the washer. This guide will help you optimize your washer's use for cleaner, fresher clothes.

Note: The following information is specific to Samsung washers available in Canada. Generally, unless your washer displays an error code, it doesn't require service.

Each type of laundry has unique needs, and your Samsung washer offers various cycles and settings to meet these. For optimal cleanliness:

• Check the care labels on each garment.

• Sort your laundry according to these guidelines.

• Wash different types of clothes separately to enhance both cleaning and garment longevity.

Selecting the right HE detergent and using the correct amount is crucial:

• Avoid exceeding the MAX line in the detergent dispenser.

• Use the minimum amount necessary for cleanliness.

• Be cautious with fabric softeners; they can stain or leave residues on certain fabrics.

Address tough stains with pre-treatments and soak heavily soiled garments:

• Treat stains promptly.

• For stubborn stains, soak garments in water with a bit of detergent until you can treat them properly.

Correct load size ensures even detergent distribution:

• Avoid overloading or underloading the washer.

• An overfull washer can leave clothes unclean; an underfull one might use too much detergent (refer to the section 'Choosing and using HE detergent effectively').
