We are using the badge for specific areas of customer service where we are seeking to apply our “Eco-Conscious Service” projects.
New Service Option for Screen Repair
At Samsung, we always keep looking for opportunities to improve and make our services more environmentally conscious. This year, we have launched a new screen repair service for select devices (select S Series and Note Series devices only).
With this service, you can now replace the broken LCD glass of your Galaxy S Series or Galaxy Note Series smartphone instead of having to replace the complete LCD module.
This change will require fewer service parts to be repaired on your device, which helps to reduce carbon emissions from factories, as fewer parts will need to be produced. We are looking to make this option available on more devices in the future.
* Available for specific models. To qualify for screen glass repair, the device cannot have (i) a damaged frame or swelling of the battery, or (ii) any other hardware failures detected during the triage process. In the event that the device does not qualify for screen glass repair, our authorized service centre will contact you to discuss alternative repair solutions.

Eco-waste Collection
Drop-off your old mobile devices to our collection points. We will take care of them for recycling.
At our branded service locations & Samsung Experience Stores, we have placed e-waste collection boxes. If you want to dispose of select mobile products* that are broken or used, you can simply drop them off in the collection boxes.
We will deliver them to recycling companies so that we can help you take care of the last step of product lifecycle in an environmentally conscious way.

Eco-paper free
When getting a repair service, request select service centers can send you information via e-mail.
We’re trying to make a “Paper-less” environment in our service centers.
Select service centers will give you the option to get service information through email, SMS, or SNS messengers.
Why is this related to our goal of being environmentally conscious? By replacing paper documents to electronic documents, we can help save trees from being cut down to make paper.
