Connect your Galaxy SmartTag to your phone with SmartThings

Automatic registration
Important: Before you begin the setup process, ensure to activate your Galaxy SmartTag by pressing the button on the device. This action will power on the Galaxy SmartTag and trigger a notification sound, indicating that it's ready for pairing with your phone.
Step 1. Open the SmartThings app on your phone.
Step 2. When the pop-up window appears, tap Add now.
Step 3. Select the checkbox, and then tap Agree.
Step 4. Follow the prompts. You may be asked to press the button on the SmartTag.
Step 5. Please wait while your Galaxy SmartTag is being registered.
Step 6. If required, update your device’s information. Then, tap Done.
Troubleshooting
If you're having trouble finding your device in the Bluetooth connection settings on your phone, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
