Troubleshooting

If you're having trouble finding your device in the Bluetooth connection settings on your phone, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  • Confirm that the device you're trying to connect to is discoverable and can be connected to. Some devices require you to enable a specific setting or put them in pairing mode.
  • Ensure that the device you're trying to connect to is within the Bluetooth range of your smartphone. Bluetooth has a maximum connection range of about 10 meters, so make sure you're in close proximity to the device.

If you're still unable to find the device or if the Galaxy SmartTag is unresponsive, you can try resetting it:

1 Remove the battery from the SmartTag.
2 Wait for approximately 20 minutes to allow any residual current inside the tag to dissipate.
3 Insert a new CR2032 battery into the SmartTag and securely close the case.
4 Wait for 2 to 3 minutes for the SmartTag to activate and emit a notification sound.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve any issues with connecting your Galaxy SmartTag to your phone.
