Terms and Conditions for the Galaxy A36 Series Trade-In Offer

*Some conditions apply. Receive a trade-in promotional credit of $100, in addition to the trade-in value of your eligible old smartphone (the “Eligible Trade-In Product”), if you:

1. purchase an eligible Galaxy A36 Series device between March 26th, 2025 and April 15th, 2025 (the “Offer Period”), from a participating authorized Canadian carrier or retailer, a Samsung Experience Store in Canada, or online at either https://www.samsung.com/ca/ or through Samsung Shop App and

2. complete the trade-in of your Eligible Trade-In Product by April 15th, 2025; and

3. ship the Eligible Trade-in Product within 21 calendar days of receiving the waybill.

The “Eligible Trade-In Product” can be any smartphone of any model, any manufacturer that is listed on the List of Eligible Trade-In Devices below and in any condition provided that it: (i) is verifiable in accordance with its serial/IMEI number, (ii) was purchased in Canada;(iii) has a minimum qualifying trade-in value of $0 as determined by the Service Provider’s device valuation software; and (iv) is owned by the customer.

The Promotional Trade-In Credit offered is as follows:

I) Redemption process for purchases made online on https://www.samsung.com/ca/:

For the purchase of an eligible Galaxy A36 Series device made online at https://www.samsung.com/ca/, the verification of the Eligible Trade-in Product will be performed by Assurant Services Canada Inc.

Please Note: In the event that the trade-in value of the Eligible Trade-In Product and trade-in promotional credit (if applicable) exceed the purchase price of your new Samsung device, you will not be eligible to participate in this Trade-In Program and the system will display an error message.

The process is as follows:

1. Purchase an eligible Galaxy A36 Series device online at https://www.samsung.com/ca/ during the Offer Period.

2. Complete the trade-in tool in your online cart by registering and providing all requested information of your Eligible Trade-In Product, including the Serial Number / IMEI of your Eligible Trade-In Product. The trade-in tool will provide an estimated value for the Eligible Trade-in Product. The actual value of the trade-in device is determined by Assurant Services Canada Inc. once the Eligible Trade-in Product is received. Please Note: For purchases made online at https://www.samsung.com/ca/, you must apply the trade-in of the Eligible Trade-in Product at cart level using the trade-in tool, prior to checkout.

3. The trade-in promotional credit (as set out above), as applicable, and the estimated Trade-in Value of Eligible Trade-In Product, will then be applied towards the purchase price (before taxes) of your new Galaxy A36 Series device, at the time of checkout.

4. A prepaid waybill will be sent to your registered email address when your new Galaxy A36 Series device is shipped.

5. Mail your Eligible Trade-in Product to the address listed on the waybill within 21 calendar days of receiving the waybill.

6. The Eligible Trade-in Product will be received and assessed by Assurant Services Canada Inc. to determine the final Trade-In Value.

II) Redemption process for purchases made at Samsung Experience Stores in Canada:

The purchase of eligible Galaxy A36 Series device and the verification of the Eligible Trade-in Product will occur simultaneously at the point of purchase at a Samsung Experience Store in Canada. The process is as follows:

1. During the Offer Period, meet with a Samsung Experience Store representative to complete a physical assessment of your Eligible Trade-in Product

2. Complete the outright purchase of eligible Galaxy A36 Series device by April 15th, 2025

3. The trade-in promotional credit (as set out above), together with the Trade-in Value of the Eligible Trade-in Product, will be applied towards the purchase price (before taxes) of your new Galaxy A36 Series device

III) Redemption process for purchases made either in-store or online at participating authorized Canadian carriers or retailers.

For purchases of an eligible Galaxy A36 Series device made at a participating authorized Canadian carrier or retailer, either online or in store, that has a trade-in program onsite, the process is as follows:

1. Complete the purchase of Galaxy A36 Series device during Offer Period, in accordance with the purchase procedures of the participating authorized Canadian retailers or carriers (defined below in section ‘Participating Partners’).

2. The trade-in promotional credit, together with the Trade-in Value of the Eligible Trade-in Product, will be disbursed in accordance with the trade-in procedures of the participating authorized Canadian retailers or carriers.
