How and where to buy
Getting protected is easy. You can buy Samsung Care+ with your new Galaxy device or within 60 days of your device purchase date. Just choose one of the online or offline options below. If you purchase Samsung Care+ within sixty (60) days of the device purchase date, a 25-day waiting period will apply before you can request services under the plan but coverage begins on the date you purchase the plan.
1. Samsung Care+ Online Store
Register your new Galaxy device in our Samsung Care+ online store within 60 days of Purchase Date. Log in and enter your IMEI number, then select the Samsung Care+ plan for your device. Navigate to the checkout page and purchase your Samsung Care+ plan.
2. Samsung Experience Stores
Visit the Samsung Experience+ Store nearest you. A Samsung professional will help you purchase Samsung Care+ at the same time or with in 60 Days of your new Galaxy device purchase date.

To make a claim or check your coverage, you'll need your 15-digit IMEI number ready. Here’s how to find it:

What is Samsung Care+ Extended Warranty?2-Year Samsung Care+ Extended Warranty protection begins upon expiry of Your Device’s manufacturer’s warranty period (“Effective Date”) and ends the earlier of: (1) 24 months from the Effective Date; and (2) the date this Plan is cancelled in accordance with Terms and Conditions of the 2-Year Samsung Care+ Extended Warranty. Your Device is protected by the manufacturer’s warranty during the manufacturer’s warranty period. This Plan extends the mechanical malfunction or defect coverage for an additional two (2) years. In the event Your Device suffers a mechanical malfunction or defect, including battery failure, after the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty, this plan will repair Your Device and return it to normal operating conditions. There are no limits for service requests due to mechanical malfunction or defects, provided they are not protected by the manufacturer’s warranty. When does the Plan protection begin and end?2-Year protection begins on the date you purchase the plan and ends the earlier of: (a) 24 months from the Device Purchase Date; and (b) the date this Plan is cancelled in accordance with the section in Terms and Conditions entitled “Can this Plan be Cancelled?”*. Repair services will not be provided for any damage or malfunction occurring more than 24 months from the device purchase date.

6. How can I enroll inSamsung Care+ Premium, Samsung Care+ or Samsung CareExtended Warranty Plan?Enrolling is simple! You may enroll online or at the Samsung Experience Store when you purchase your applicable Galaxy Smartphone, Laptop, Tablet, Hearable or Wearable device. You can also purchase the amsung Care+ Premium, Samsung Care+ or Samsung Extended Warranty Plan (“Plan”) within 60 days of your device purchase date. If you do not purchase the Plan at the same time as you purchase your Galaxy device but purchase the Plan within the 60 days following your purchase date, a 25-day waiting period will apply before you can request services under the Plan. If you purchase the Plan from Samsung.com/ca, your device must have been registered and activated with a Canadian wireless service provider within the sixty (60) days of the device purchase date. Your protection begins on the date you purchase the Plan and ends up to 24 months from the device purchase date, unless the Plan is cancelled earlier in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

You may be eligible for same day repair at one of our specified service locations. You may be required to provide the original Confirmation Letter for the device or any other information We may reasonably request.
In the event of failure due to physical malfuntion or liquid resistance failure, or SmartThingsFind's a service fee plus applicable taxes will apply to each service request. -
12. How do I submit a service request if SmartThings Find is unable to locate my device?Call Us at 1-877-699-1356 , 24 hours / 7 days per week (including holidays) to initiate a service request. You may be required to provide the original Confirmation Letter for the device or any other information We may reasonably request.
In the event SmartThings Find fails to locate Your Device, a replacement service fee plus applicable taxes will apply to each service request. -
13. Can I terminate my Samsung Care+ Premium, Samsung Care+ or Samsung Extended Warranty Plan?You may cancel the Plan within the first 30 days from the date You purchased the Plan. You may be entitled to a refund as follows:
1. if You have not obtained services under the Plan, You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Plan. 2. If You have obtained services under the Plan, You will receive a refund of the purchase price of the Plan, less the cost of services received (unless otherwise prohibited by law).
After the first 30-day period, You cannot cancel the Plan and no refund will be provided (unless otherwise prohibited by law).
Quebec Residents: In circumstances where the Plan is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, this section does not apply to You, and You may cancel this Plan in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec. -
14. Will I get full refund if I did not register any service request under my Samsung Care+ Premium, Samsung Care+ or Samsung Extended Warranty Plan?No, you are not be eligible for refund if you did not make any service request during the entire duration of the Plan.

What will happen to my Plan in the event that I lose my registered Samsung Galaxy device?For Samsung Care+ Premium Plan, in the event that SmartThings Find fails to locate your registered Samsung Galaxy device, upon receiving your service request, we will send you a replacement device. A replacement service fee plus applicable taxes will apply to each service request.
For Samsung Care+ or Samsung Extended Warranty Plan, the value-added service is tied to the IMEI number of your registered Samsung Galaxy device. In the event you lose your registered Samsung Galaxy device, we will not be able to deliver the services to your registered Samsung Galaxy device. -
16. I lost my registered Samsung Galaxy device, and in replacement bought another eligible Samsung Galaxy device. Will the Samsung Care+ or Samsung Extended Warranty plan I bought earlier cover my new Samsung Galaxy device?No. Samsung Care+ or Samsung Extended Warranty plan is tied to the IMEI or Serial number of your registered Samsung Galaxy device and is non-transferable. We encourage you to purchase a new Samsung Care+ or Samsung Extended Warranty plan for your new eligible Samsung Galaxy device.

Can I use the services under Samsung Care+ Premium, Samsung Care+ or Samsung Extended Warranty Plan for another Galaxy device?No. The Plan is tied to the IMEI or Serial number of your registered Samsung Galaxy device and is non-transferable. You can only use the Samsung Concierge service for the registered Samsung Galaxy device.

18. What Samsung Care+ Premium plan does not cover?The Samsung Care+ Premium plan does not apply to and We do not provide services for:
1. mechanical failures or defects or battery failures covered by the manufacturer’s warranty during the term of such warranty; 2. Devices with removed, altered or defaced serial numbers or International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) numbers; 3. Devices used for commercial purposes, provided by You for use by the general public, or used for lease or rental. Use of a Device for these purposes will void this Plan; 4. Device malfunction resulting from intentional physical damage, abuse, misuse, or vandalism; 5. Device malfunction or damage resulting from repairs conducted by other parties; 6. Device malfunction or damage due to improper installation on, or improper equipment modifications to the Device; 7. Device where, for any reason whatsoever, we are unable to validate the IMEI or serial number of the Device including but not limited to intentional or accidental damage such as Device being crushed, bent, falling from heights such as balconies or windows, being run over or falling from moving vehicles; 8. lost end-user replaceable parts; 9. Devices purchased as used recertified, or refurbished devices; 10. minor imperfections in devices that meet design specifications or cosmetic damage (including but not limited to scratches and dents) that do not affect functionality of the Device;

1.intentional or accidental physical damage or liquid intrusion; 2.mechanical failures or defects or battery failures covered by the manufacturer’s warranty during the term of such warranty; 3.data sticks; 4.Devices with removed, altered or defaced serial numbers; 5.Devices used for commercial purposes, provided by You for use by the general public, or used for lease or rental. Use of a Device for these purposes will void this Plan; 6.except as otherwise required bylaw, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of profits, down-time and charges for time and effort; 7.any loss or amount other than the repair or, if applicable and at Our sole option, the replacement of the Device; 8.Device malfunction resulting from intentional physical damage, abuse, misuse, or vandalism; 9.Device malfunction or damage resulting from repairs conducted by other parties; 10.Device malfunction or damage due to improper installation on, or improper equipment modifications to the Device; 11.Device where, for any reason whatsoever, we are unable to validate the IMEI or serial number of the Device including but not limited to intentional or accidental damage such as Device being crushed, bent, falling from heights such as balconies or windows, being run over or falling from moving vehicles; 12.lost or stolen devices; 13.lost end-user replaceable parts;

21. What is SmartThings Find?With all the devices we own these days, it is easy to misplace one or two. Luckily, SmartThings Find in the SmartThings app will help you locate your precious devices, like your phone, tablet, earbuds, and watch. SmartThings Find will scan for your devices and even show you a map with detailed information, including addresses and timestamps. You can also share device information with other Galaxy users so a friend can locate a device for you, or turn on the Offline finding feature. If you need additional tracking options, you can connect to Find My Mobile within the app or use the Galaxy SmartTag2, Galaxy SmartTag or Galaxy SmartTag+ as well.

Samsung Care+ Premium is not available in Quebec - 1For Galaxy Z Fold Series devices, a service fee of $39 will apply to service requests for exterior screen-only damage. For Galaxy Z Flip Series devices, a service fee of $39 will apply to service requests for exterior screen-only or back glass-only damage. Devices with any other damage will be subject to the full Service Fee. The full Service Fee of $229 for Galaxy Z Fold Series devices and $149 for Galaxy Z Flip Series devices, as outlined in the table above, will be collected at time of service request. Upon inspection of your device, and confirmation of eligibility for the reduced service fee, a refund of the difference will be processed.
