Widgets are shortcuts we can add to your home screen to make everyday tasks quicker and easier.

As an example, let's add a widget to call someone with just one tap.

1) On your home screen, tap and hold an empty spot.
2) Tap Widgets and select 'Contacts'.
3) Tap and hold 'Direct Dial' and drag it to your home screen.
4) Finally select a contact from your contact list.

Next time you need to call that contact, simple tap that new widget.
