It’s easy to set up your new Samsung phone.
Whether you’re just getting started or want to make sure you have the basics set up, you’re in the right place.
Out of the box
Set up your phone in a breeze.
Press and hold the side key to turn it on,
connect to Wi-Fi and follow the prompts
Move your apps and data
Use Smart Switch during or after the initial setup to easily copy your data from your old phone.
Samsung and Google accounts
Create a Samsung account to access support and exclusive apps, like Samsung Wallet and Samsung Health.
Google account gives you access to familiar Google services and the app store, Google Play Store.
Don’t forget your WhatsApp chats!
Copy all your WhatsApp data onto your new phone with Smart Switch and resume LOL 😂
It just takes two steps. First, connect your iPhone* to your new Samsung device using a USB-C Lightning cable. Open Smart Switch on your Samsung device, select ‘Receive data’, ‘iPhone’, and follow the prompts to import data with the QR code.

Finding your way around
This is the first screen that you will see once you finish with the initial setup is called the home screen.
It gives you quick and easy access to your favourite apps and widgets and shows you what is going on through notifications.
