Samsung provides elements of the Samsung Trade-In Program as Asurion’s agent.
-
Am I eligible to participate in the program?The Program is open to Australian residents over the age of 18. You must also: •be the legal and rightful owner of the eligible device;
•have a credit card;
•have a valid form of photo identification issued by a government authority, e.g. drivers licence. -
What requirements does my device have to meet for me to participate in the program?To participate in the program, the device you trade-in needs to be: •an Australian variant; and
•not reported as lost or stolen; and
•able to power up if the device is capable of storing data; and
• either in Good Working Order (GWO) or Non-Good Working Order (NGWO). -
What if the condition of my device is found to be different when it is graded by Asurion?When your device arrives at the Asurion warehouse, Asurion will assess the condition of the device and verify that it matches the condition you declared. If the condition is found to be different, you will be contacted via email and advised of the revision to your trade-in value. The revised trade-in value will be equivalent to the market value of the device based on its condition. The Security Charge refund will be reduced by the difference in trade-in value. Please refer to the terms and conditions (Samsung online) for further information.
-
What if my device does not meet the minimum conditions, or what if my device is not an eligible device for this promotion?You will need to complete an eligibility check when you trade in your device. This is a quick assessment to help determine if your device is eligible for the Program. If your device is not eligible, then you will be unable to participate in the Program.
