Samsung Blockchain Keystore helps you to securely manage personal data and transactions, making it a unique security option you can use with confidence.

Samsung Blockchain Keystore enables you to do the following:

  • Private key storage: You can create and store blockchain-based private keys in a secure area of your device or import an existing private key from a third-party service.
  • Verification service: When you make virtual asset transactions, purchase Blockchain-based content, make a contract or submit credentials in Samsung's other services or third-party services, you can sign and authorise them with the private key stored in Samsung Blockchain Keystore. All you need to do is enter your PIN or fingerprint verification. After you sign, payment/transaction information is sent to the blockchain network.
  • Create a Wallet: You can also create your own wallet to store your cards. To do this, follow these steps.

How to create your Samsung Blockchain Keystore wallet

1 Run the “Settings” menu and tap the “Security” option.
2 On this screen, select the “Samsung Blockchain Keystore” menu.
3 Next you must create a six-digit PIN and if you want, add your fingerprint authentication.
4 Once you receive a recovery passphrase consisting of 12 words required to access your wallet, the wallet creation process is complete.

Remove Data on the App

Samsung Blockchain Keystore does not require its users to create a separate account, so there is no process to delete an account. However, you can still delete all the data stored on the app.

If you want to delete all the data stored

1. Head to the Blockchain Wallet app

2. Select the 3 vertical dots on the top right

3. Tap on Settings

4. Choose Samsung Blockchain Keystore

5. Select Reset Blockchain Keystore

However, the private key that you created or imported cannot be permanently deleted from the blockchain network, although it is deleted from your device, and can be restored through the "Link" menu after data initialisation.
