How it works:
1. Submit an Swap request on the Samsung Care+ Portal before 3pm on a business day and we’ll dispatch on the same day, providing a replacement device is in stock.
2. Pay a one-time service fee.
3. Receive a refurbished device before sending back your old device. You’ll have 14 days to return your device, giving you plenty of time to backup and transfer data.
We’ll keep your device working like it’s new for a one-time service fee. Our Certified Technicians can help with:
A. Screen clean or replacement:
Using genuine Samsung parts that won’t void your warranty if necessary or a buff and polish to remove scuffling to restore surface shine
B. Battery replacement:
To ensure your device is powering at full capacity
C. Detailed device clean:
Deep cleanse of the exterior body and all ports, getting into all those hard-to-reach places
D. Diagnostic testing:
To ensure your device is operating at optimal speed, including a full factory reset and operating system reload

Is Samsung Care+ an insurance program?Samsung Care+ is not an insurance program. A Samsung Care+ subscription entitles you to request a device Swap, a Mobile Refresh or Good Working Order Value Trade-In.*

How many service requests can I make during the 2 year subscription?The number of service requests you can make will depend on your subscription:
- 24-month subscription:
- Two Swap Requests; or
- Two Mobile Refresh* Requests; or
- One Swap and one Mobile Refresh* Request; or
- One Good Working Order Value Trade-In Request**.
*Mobile Refresh services are not available on Galaxy Tabs or smart watches.
**Good Working Order Trade-In Request is only available to customers who enrolled in Samsung Care+ after 22 July 2024 and may only be used after the first 90 days of enrolment into the program. Once you complete a Good Working Order Value Trade-In Request your subscription will automatically terminate. -
What fees apply?An enrolment fee applies at the time that you enrol in Samsung Care+ with your new eligible device.
A service request fee applies when you request a Swap, Mobile Refresh or Good Working Order Value Trade-In.
A Device Non-Return Fee may apply for a Swap or Good Working Order Value Trade-In Request if you do not send your original device in within 14 days in accordance with our instructions to you. See here for Samsung Care+ Terms and Conditions. -

Can I still make a services request if my device has suffered damage?You can lodge a Swap Request or Good Working Order Value Trade-In Request for any reason, even if your device is damaged.
Eligibility criteria applies for a Mobile Refresh Request, . We will ask you a few questions to determine whether you are eligible for a Mobile Refresh at the time you make a request. -
What happens if I don’t return my original device after making a swap request or a trade-in request for a device in good working condition?If your original device is not returned within 14 days, a Device Non-Return fee will be charged to your payment card.

What happens if my eligible original device or any swap device is faulty?Our goods come with statutory consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If your registered device or any swap device suffers a defect or failure which is covered by a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
When you make a Swap or Mobile Refresh Request under Samsung Care+, we will ask you to provide information about your device to determine if there is a defect or failure that may be covered under a consumer guarantee (and/or the device’s manufacturer’s warranty). Any remedy we provide under the Australian Consumer Law (and/or the manufacturer’s warranty) will not impact your entitlements under your Samsung Care+ subscription.

What is a mobile referesh request?A Mobile Refresh Request consists of:
- Diagnostic test – we ensure your device is operating at optimal speed, this also includes a full factory reset and operating system reload.
- Screen refresh – replacement of the LCD screen using genuine OEM parts that won’t void your warranty if necessary or a buff and polish to remove scuffing on screen device and help to restore surface shine.
- Battery replacement - battery replacement to ensure your device is powering at full capacity.
- Detailed device clean – deep cleanse of the exterior body and all ports, getting in to all those hard-to-reach places.
A Mobile Refresh Fee applies when you request a Mobile Refresh. Mobile Refresh services are not available on Galaxy Tabs or Galaxy smart watches. -
Is a mobile refresh request the same as a swap request?No, a Mobile Refresh Request is not the same as a Swap Request. When you make a Swap Request, you will receive a new or Like Mobile Device that gives you a like-new phone experience. A Mobile Refresh is more suited for devices which need to be refreshed rather than swapped, however, depending on the condition of your device you may not be eligible for a Mobile Refresh. If you are enrolled in Samsung Care+, you can request a Swap or Mobile Refresh at any time, as long as you pay the applicable request fee and you have not already used up all your entitlements. How long will a mobile refresh take?When you make a Mobile Refresh Request here, we will ask you a few questions to determine whether you are eligible for a Mobile Refresh. When the service technician receives your device, they will also confirm whether they can proceed with the Mobile Refresh through a series of diagnostic tests and a physical assessment. If the technician determines that they can perform a Mobile Refresh, then it will typically take between 1 to 5 business days (excluding delivery times).
If the technician determines that they cannot perform a Mobile Refresh, then we will contact you to discuss your options. -
Should I back up my data before sending in my device after making a swap or refresh request?Yes, we recommend you back-up your data before sending your device to us for a Swap or Mobile Refresh. Click here to find out how to use Smart Switch.

What is a good working order value trade-in request?Good Working Order Value Trade-In Request is available to customers who enrolled in Samsung Care+ after 22 July 2024 and can only be used after the first 90 days of enrolment.
If you trade in your registered device to us, you will receive a trade-in credit that you can use towards the purchase of a new Galaxy smartphone, Tab or smart watch. The credit you receive will be equal to the fair market value of your device in good working order (as determined by us), regardless of the physical condition of your device. A Good Working Order Value Trade-In Fee applies and must be paid at the time you make the request. You will be issued with a unique Trade ID to apply at the checkout on Samsung’s e-store (https://www.samsung.com/au/). Your unique Trade ID can only be used once and will expire after 14 days if not used.
Once you have completed your Good Working Order Value Trade-In Request your subscription will automatically terminate. Note: If you trade in your device directly through Samsung Trade-In online or in a Samsung Experience store then different terms, conditions and fees apply. How do I return my device after a good working order value trade-in request?Once you have received your newly purchased Samsung device you will be sent instructions on how to send in your registered device to us within 14 days. You will be sent a prepaid Australia Post return label via email, which you can print out or display on your phone at your local Australia Post outlet. This label entitles you to receive secure packaging to send in your device to us. Before you send in your device, we recommend that you back-up and remove all personal data, disable all security locks and features and also remove any covers or cases. If we don’t receive your registered device within 14 days after you have received your newly purchased Samsung device, or if you send us the wrong device, then a Device Non-Return Fee will be charged to your payment card.
1. Samsung Care+ is not an insurance product. Either a one year or two year Samsung Care+ subscription is available. Different entitlement limits apply depending on the term of your subscription. For Swaps: Swap Fee for all eligible devices is from $149 to $299. Samsung Care+ does not cover lost or stolen devices. A swap device is usually a refurbished device of the same model as your current device. If this is not available, we’ll provide a comparable model. Online Exclusive colours and Bespoke Editions are not eligible as replacement devices as part of a Samsung Care+ subscription. You must return your original device within 14 days of receiving a swap device, otherwise you may be charged a Device Non-Return Fee. For your swap device to be dispatched by the next business day, your swap request must be lodged by 3pm AEST on a business day and will be subject to stock availability (including colour variants). Ownership of your original device immediately passes to Samsung’s service provider Asurion once it is swapped and all content will be wiped upon receipt. If your device is covered by warranty or consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, the swap fee will not apply. For Mobile Refresh: a Refresh Fee of $45 to $99 is payable for all eligible devices. A mobile refresh request must be submitted via the Samsung Care+ Portal and, if accepted, customers may utilise the Mail-In service within 7 days. Mobile refreshes are subject to the device meeting the mobile refresh criteria. Devices that do not meet the criteria may be returned or transferred to a Swap request. For Good Working Order Value Trade-In: Trade-in your eligible device regardless of its physical condition through the Samsung Care+ Portal and receive a trade-in credit to use towards the purchase of a new Galaxy smartphone, tablet or smart watch on Samsung’s online store. A Good Working Order Value Trade-In Fee of $79 to $149 is payable at the time of request. You must return your original device within 14 days of receiving your newly purchased device, otherwise you may be charged a Device Non-Return Fee. Ownership of your original device immediately passes to Samsung’s service provider Asurion once your Good Working Order Value Trade-In Request is completed. Only available on new enrolments from 22 July 2024 and can only be used after the first 90 days of enrolment. 2 Where a swap device is not in stock, we will communicate to you an estimated delivery date.
^A swap device is a new or refurbished device that is the same model as your current device, or a comparable model.
3. Customers are eligible to purchase Samsung Care+ within 30 days of purchasing your Eligible Device (Post Purchase Application) subject to successfully completing the Post Purchase Declaration via the Samsung Care+ Portal. If you do not complete the Post Purchase Declaration within 30 days from receipt of notice by Samsung, Samsung may reject your enrolment into the Program.

4. Mobile Refresh is not available for Galaxy tablets or smart watches. Eligibility for a Mobile Refresh will be determined at time of request. Device must be in good working condition without excessive damage.
5. Replacement of LCD screen in a Mobile Refresh is only eligible for the internal folding of the LCD screen of eligible devices Samsung Care+ devices.
10. *From 27th of September 2024 until 30th of December 2024 get 20% off Samsung Care+ 2 year subscription when you purchase a Samsung Galaxy S24 FE in the same transaction on the Samsung Online Store or through a Samsung Experience Store, unless withdrawn earlier. 20% off discount does not apply to the $149 swap fee. Swap fee applies per swap. Discount applies to one (1) x 2 year SC+ subscription.
12. From 5th of December 2024 until 31st of January 2025 get 50% off Samsung Care+ 1 year subscription when purchased within 30 days after you purchased a Samsung Galaxy S24 series, unless withdrawn earlier. 50% off discount does not apply to the $149 swap fee for the S24|S24+ or $229 swap fee for the S24 Ultra. Swap fee applies per swap. Discount applies to one (1) x 1 year SC+ subscription.
