Sleeping on the job may be frowned upon in office but don’t feel bad about taking a little snooze at home between conference calls. Closing your eyes, even for a few minutes, in a calm environment helps improve your mood and productivity. So here’s a few do’s and don’ts to help you get the most out of your naptime.

Timing is everything

Napping between 1pm – 3pm is said to fit in best with our body’s natural rhythm. So a little shut-eye during this time for 20 to 30 minutes will help you stay sharp and alert for the rest of the day and also won’t interfere with your night time sleep. Remember the longer you nap, the more likely you are to feel groggy afterwards.

Clean linen is key

We spend nearly a third of our lives sleeping in bed, which amounts to roughly 56 hours a week of accumulated sweat and dead skin that we leave behind on our sheets. So how do we keep things clean?

- It is recommended to wash and change your sheets weekly
- Choose a hygienic steam wash cycle to attack germs and allergens

Our Samsung Front Load Washers feature hygienic steam cycle to help keep linen fresh.
