* To use SmartThings, download the App from the Galaxy Store, Google Play Store, or Apple App Store. The SmartThings App requires Android OS 10↑ with a minimum of 3GB RAM space or iOS 15↑. Supported OS specifications and app screen configuration may change with app updates.

* The availability of technology, functions, features, and services may vary by country, service provider, network environment, or product, and may change without notice. 

* All devices must be connected to Wi-Fi or other wireless network, and registered with a single Samsung Account. 

* SmartThings features and specifications may vary depending on the product and region/country.

* The maximum number of devices that can be connected to SmartThings is 300 per location. However, the maximum number of devices that can be connected may be limited depending on the user’s network environment. Up to 10 locations per account can be used, up to 20 rooms per location, and up to 20 members can be invited per account by the administrator who registered the location.

1. Some features of Home Insight are currently available only in Korea and the USA.

2. Home insight’s presence-based suggestion feature is based on AI model’s collected data from devices and sensors to determine whether you are present of absent. This function may provide incorrect result and may vary depending on model, devices, and versions.

3. Works on Samsung Galaxy smartphones when the home screen or the SmartThings App is running, and on other Android/iOS smartphones when the SmartThings App is running.

4. Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required.

5. Available on Android and iOS devices, but Samsung Galaxy smartphones provide the best experience. This function may be supported in different ways on other smartphones.

6. The only devices supported are certain models of TVs manufactured in 2020 or later and certain models of air conditioners, air purifiers, and robot vacuum cleaners manufactured in 2024 or later.

7. The automatic activation time varies depending on the user environment. Actual user interface (UI) of Quick Remote may vary depending on region, model and software version.

8. Routine pre-set is required, and compatible devices should be registered in the SmartThings App with the same Samsung account.

Devices that include a built-in SmartThings Hub include: Samsung TVs (models released after 2022: QN900*/ QN800*/ QN700*/ QN95*/ S95*/ QN90*/ QN85*/ Q80*/ Q70*/ Q60*/ *U8/ The Serif / The Frame / The Sero), Smart Monitors (Models M50* or higher for models released after 2022), Sound Bars (HW-Q990* and HW-LS60* for models released after 2022), Family Hub refrigerators (USA after 2017 and Korean release models, excluding RH9000), SmartThings Stations, and SmartThings Hubs v2/v3. For 2022 or earlier models, a separate accessory called a SmartThings Dongle is required to connect Thread and Zigbee devices. Most models after 2023 have a built-in SmartThings Dongle, so a separate accessory is not required. Please check the detailed information about each product. 

12. Certified for connectivity and compatibility by Samsung's 'Works with SmartThings' program.

13. A SmartThings Hub is required for certain devices.

14. Matter is an open connectivity standard for smart home and IoT (Internet of Things) devices, which is designed to improve interoperability and compatibility between devices from hundreds of device manufacturers, including Amazon, Apple, Google and Samsung Electronics.

15. HCA: the Home Connectivity Alliance is a global alliance that creates common standards for smart appliance brands, making it easier to connect them to SmartThings and create a smart home ecosystem. Its members include 15 global home appliance companies, such as Samsung Electronics, GE Appliances, Haier, Electrolux, and LG Electronics.
