Let me explain: there are certain factors to consider when buying a new tablet. First, the purpose of buying a new tablet: for example, what kind of work will you use it for? If you want to replace your laptop, then you should obviously go for the ultra version. If you want to balance between the ultra and the base model, then go for the plus model. If you want just a regular tablet, then go for the base version. On the other hand, if your main purpose is consuming content, this Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) has Widevine L1 support, so you can stream Netflix in full HD. If you want to take notes, it is the right choice. The screen is not that big, but big enough to watch Netflix, take notes with the included S Pen, and browse the web. I put my S24 Ultra display alongside the tablet, and I could barely see any difference. That's a good thing. The battery life is amazing, though it differs in each individual use case, but you should get a couple of days of battery life. In terms of performance, it's good enough for the tasks I throw at it, but don't buy it for gaming or heavy task loads; you'll be disappointed. So, let me give you a real-life example. I practically spend most of my time with my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. I am planning to use it for years. I got the 512 GB version with 12 GB of RAM; it can handle anything. Since I already have a powerful phone, I don't need to spend a lot on a high-end tablet for media consumption, note-taking, and browsing. 4/64 GB is more than enough for me. I'm not into health tracking, so my Fit 3 band works fine. The ecosystem is amazing. My next plan is to get the Buds 3 Pro, but if i need to replace my earbuds and would definitely buy them (unless Samsung sends me a free one for a good review! 🤣).
