Hygiene Steam

Give laundry an intensive and hygienic clean with hot water and steam. The Hygiene Steam cycle* washes as 60°C to sanitize clothes, eliminate 99.9% of bacteria** and remove stubborn and oily stains***. Or you can adjust the temperature to 40°C to clean everyday marks and soiling, like sweat.

* Available when washing laundry loads up to 3kg.
** Based on the Intertek test report for the 60°C sanitize wash. Removes 99.9% of certain bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Individual results may vary.
*** Based on internal testing. The optimal temperature may vary depending on the type and condition of the dirt and stains.

Manage your energy usage to reduce your carbon footprint and save money. SmartThings Energy* provides energy efficiency tips. It also monitors the energy consumption of appliances** in real-time and compares it to the previous month. And it alerts you if your monthly targets might be exceeded.

Keep unsightly speckles off your whites and darks, and protect the drainage from getting clogged up. A Magic Filter with a dual mesh, at the front and back, effectively gathers the lint, fluff and particles that come out of your laundry. And it is easy to empty out the filter, as it opens 180°.

Magic Filter

Keeps the tub clean

Eco Tub Clean

Keep the inside of your top load washer fresh and hygienically clean, while being eco-friendly and saving money. The Eco Tub Clean course removes dirt that can build-up in the drum, without using harsh or costly detergent. And it even notifies you automatically when it needs cleaning*.

* Eliminates 95% of Pseudomonas aeruginosa from the surface of a tub. Based on the results from the tests performed by Intertek engineers in accordance with the test protocols provided by Samsung: equip a tub polluted with bacteria into the machine, run the Eco Tub Clean cycle and then compare the number of viable bacteria before and after the cycle. The Eco Tub Clean function should be used with no laundry inside the tub. Individual results may vary depending on the actual usage conditions.
** Recommended for use every one or two months, when an alert icon turns on.

Long-lasting fragrance

Deep Softener

Ensure your clothes smell sweeter for longer. The Deep Softener option maximizes the effect of softener by optimizing the rinsing algorithm. So the fragrance lasts longer with the same amount of softener. This reduces waste, as you don’t need to exceed the normal dosage or add a soaking course.

Soft Closing Door

Avoid being frightened by unexpected bangs! The Soft Closing Door shuts safely, gently and silently, as a damper automatically slows its movement. A tempered glass window also lets you view your washing without lifting the lid. And it is durable and strong, so it won’t get scratched or damaged.

Rear Control

Use your washer easily and intuitively without worrying about splashing water on the digital panel. The slanted Rear Control is located at the back of the machine. It means the controls are really easy to see, even from a distance, and are protected from water splashes when getting clothes out.
