TalkBack
The screen reader feature helps users with visual impairments. It provides spoken feedback to help users understand the contents on the screen. You can use your device without looking at the screen.

Display mode
On Display mode, you can increase the contrast on the screen or make the contents appear bigger. There is no need to turn on each accessibility feature such as High contrast fonts, High contrast keyboard and Screen zoom individually. You can choose the appropriate mode for you immediately.

High contrast theme
Use a theme with light-coloured content on a dark background for easier reading and improved visibility. This helps reduce eye fatigue and is especially helpful when using your phone in a dark environment or for extended periods. Various high-contrast themes are available on Galaxy Themes.

High contrast fonts
Adjust the colour and outline of fonts to increase the contrast between the text and the background.

Colour inversion
Invert colours of the screen for better visibility.

Magnification
You can magnify your whole screen or selected part of the screen. Access the Magnification function quickly by using the shortcut. You can easily switch between the whole screen magnification and part of the screen magnification modes.

Magnifier
The Magnifier Widget helps you easily zoom in on objects around you. It also includes colour filters, brightness, and contrast controls for a clearer view of text and images. You can add the Magnifier Widget to your home screen from the widget menu.

Cursor thickness
You can set the thickness of the text cursor for better visual recognition.

Pointer size and colour
You can adjust the size or colour of the mouse pointer or touchpoint displayed on the screen.

Audio description
You can set to hear the 'Audio description' automatically when you watch a video that contains an audio description.

Bixby Vision for accessibility
Bixby Vision provides verbal depiction of what it sees, helping you make sense of the world around you.

  • * Scene Describer mode currently supports English (US), French, German, Italian, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish (Spain).

Voice Label
You can use NFC tags to distinguish objects of similar shape by attaching labels to them. You can record and assign a voice recording to an NFC tag. The voice recording is played back when you place your phone near the NFC tag.

Live Transcribe
Conversations are now easier, with Live Transcribe on Android. The feature will detect the language that's being spoken from over 70 languages and dialects. Captions will be adjusted and displayed as your conversation flows.

Live Caption

With the Live Caption in Calls option, you can read the call in automated captions and respond by typing text which will be read out to the recipient using Speech Service by Google.

Amplify ambient sound
You can amplify the sounds around your phone and hear them through connected headphones.

Adapt sound

Mouse and physical keyboard
Personalise your interactions with a physical keyboard to accommodate hand tremors, key combinations, and more. You can also set your mouse to click automatically when the pointer stops moving.
  • Auto action after pointer stops: Make an action run automatically after the mouse pointer stops moving or when you move the pointer to each corner.
  • Sticky keys: Press one key at a time for a combination instead of holding down all the keys at once.
  • Slow keys: Adjust the length of a key press to be recognised as input, reducing unintended interactions.
  • Bounce keys: Set a waiting time for a second press of the same key to help avoid accidentally pressing the same key.
